The bride is the daughter of Virges and Angela Marcel. She is the granddaughter of the late Floyd J. LeBouef, Florence G.Boudreaux, and the late Mr. and Mrs.Noris Marcel. Parents of the groom are Recardo and Earline Chatagnier. He is the grandson of the late Wilbert Marcel, Joyce Marcel, the late Wilbert Chatagnier and Virgina Chatagnier. The Rev. Dwayne Davis officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father and mother. The bride wore a formal white satin gown accented with pearls and sequins and a full skirt that flowed into a floor-length train accented with appliques. Her headpiece held a floor-length veil of double-tier bridal illusion. She carried a cascading bouquet of mixed spring flowers. Serving in the wedding were Danielle Leonard, maid of honor; Cindy Vedros, Shellie Porche, Christy Thibodeaux, Tiffany Brien, Misty LeBouef, Cassle Kimble, Ashley Voclain, Lara Falcon and Jenny Giles, maids; and Sarah LeBouef, flower girl. Kenneth White Jr. was the best man; Wayne Lirette Jr., Kirby Chassion, Troy LeBouef, Bennie Leonard, Eric Falcon. Brad Marcel, groomsmen; Jacob Dupre, ring bearer; and Terry Pitre and Junior Chatagnier, ushers. A reception was given by the couple's parents at the Houma Municipal Auditorium. The traditional three-tier cake had two bridges on each side connecting to three smaller cakes and was accented with lilacs. The groom's cake featured a hunting and fishing scene. The couple will reside in Gray. WEBRE-ROBICHAUX Amy Webre and Brian Robichaux, both of Houma, were married at 7p.m. Nov. 16, 2001, at St. Bridget Church in Schriever. Th e bride is the daughter of Robert and Pam Webre of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Joyce Samanie of Schriever, the late Bruce Samanie Sr., and Paul and Nell Webre, of Houma.Parents of the groom are Wiley and Doris Robichaux of Houma. He is the grandson of Jesse and Mae Bergeron of Houma, and Clayon and Hilda Robichaux. The Rev. Raymond LeBoeuf officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal white satin gown with embroidered lace bodice accented with pearls, beads and sequins. The empire waist and semi-cathedral train was accented in the back with satin roses and streamers with embroidered lace. Her tiara headpiece was accented with lines, pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies accented with a white satin ribbon. Serving in the wedding were Chere Boudreaux, matron of honor; Lydia Dupre, maid of honor; Christie Richard, Dede Barron, Jackie Wilderom, Melissa Price and Jennifer Oubre, maids; and Jenna Barron, flower girl. David Foret was the best man; David Dupre, Guy Richard, Ed Barron, Cody Martin, Kenneth Robichaux and Lance Robichaux; groomsmen; Eddie Barron III, ring bearer; and Larry Bergeron and Clyde Bergeron, ushers. A reception was held at the Evergreen Lions Cajun Center. The four-tiered cake was accented with lacework frosting and pearls. The groom's cake was in the shape of a pool table. The couple will reside in Gray.
