The bride is the daughter of Ronald "Black" Guidry and Brenda Guilbeau, both of Houma. She is the grand-daughter of the late Rene Guidry, Marguerite Guidry, and the late Gillis and Louise Olivier. She is a 1987 graduate of Terrebonne High School and a 1997 graduate of Christ International Bible School. She is employed by ChauMart Pharmacy. Parents of the groom are Edward Naquin of Galliano and Anne Meche of Leesville. He is the grandson of the late Sidney Naquin, Effie Persyn, and the late Garland and Nettie Richard. He is a 1981 graduate of South Terrebonne High School. He is employed by Oceaneering International. The Rev. Charley Driskill officiated the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride's dress was an ivory satin gown with pearl and sequin appliques. Her flowers were fresh ivory roses garnished with baby's breath. Serving in the wedding were Tiffany Falgout maid of honor; Mike Rock, best man; and Brandon LeBoeuf and Tyler Naquin, ring bearers. A reception was given by the couple on Dec. 16 The bride's cake was three-tier, decorated with doves, roses and pearls. The groom's cake was a home made red velvet cake garnished with fishing ornaments The couple plan to reside in Houma.
