The bride is the daughter of Vickie and John Crouch Jr. of Houma. She is the granddaughter of John and Lovie Crouch of Rosepine, Wesalene Calhoon and thp late Buddy James. Parents of the groom are Keith and Sandie Bergeron of Houma. He is the grandson of Margaret Sherrard of Abilene, Texas, the late Joe Sherrard, Pat Bergeron of Houma and the late Earl Bergeron. The Rev. Glen Wentworth officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal white satin A-line gown that featured a heavily beaded fitted empire bodice, shortsleeves, a scoop neckline and a matching chapel-length train. Her beaded headband was accented with pearls and held a double-tierwaist-length veil of bridal illusion. She carried a clutch bouquet of one dozen white roses wrapped in white satin ribbon. Serving, in the wedding were Denise B. Breaux, matron of honor; Richelle N. Hickman, maid of honor; Lindsay R. LeBLanc, Jessica R. Barras, Tara Daigre and Bryna L Goss, maids; Katie Bouzigard, Jennie Bouzigard and Maggie Bergeron, flower girls. Russ Bergeron was the best man; Carey Doiron, Jason Neal, Brad Hidalgo, Terry Daigre and Louis Blanchard, groomsmen; Shawn Crouch, Donnie Pitre and Bobby Bouche Folse, ushers; and Matthew.Bergeron, ring bearer. A reception was given by the bride's parents at the Houma Municipal Auditorium. The traditional four-tier multi-flavored white frosted cake was accented with fresh roses and greenery. The groom's cake featured a duck hunting scene. The couple will reside in Houma. BOURG-NEIL Faith Bourg of Theriot and Rodney Neil of Chauvin were mar ried at 3 p.m. April 14, 2001, at the Dularge Fire Station. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David P. Bourg Sr. of Theriot. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo P. Bourg Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Liley A. Porche Sr. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Neil of Chauvin. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Bourg and the late Nollie and Doris Neil. Justice of the Peace Johnny Belinda Eschete officiated at the ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a white satin gown that featured a V-neckline fitted bodice of beaded lace, short lace sleeves and a cathedral-length train of satin and lace. Her matching beaded lace crown held a double-tier cathedral-length veil of bridal illusion. She carried a round bouquet of mixed white roses and carnations accented with greenery. Serving in the wedding were Sandy Pamell, matron of honor; Nanci Brunet, Regina Bellon and Jennifer Romero, maids; and Hannah Thibodeaux and Katlynn Pamell, flower girls. Chad Thibodeaux was the bestman; Donald Bourg Jr., Adam Brunet and David Bourg Jr., groomsmen; Trent LeBouef and Sean Brunet, junior g roomsmen; and Job Thibodeaux and James Moores, ring bearer. A reception was given by the couple's parents at the fire station. The three-tier traditional cake featured a waterfall with stairs leading to three satellite tiers. The couple will reside in Montegut. SMITH-MAXWELL Lori Smith and Everett D. Maxwell were married April 20, 2001, at Coteau Baptist Church. The bride is the daughter of Charles and Patricia Smith. She is the granddaughter of Stan and Yvonne Smith, and the late Elise and Charles Fatchett. Parents of the groom are Wanda and Marshall Dewey Maxwell. The bride wore a white satin princess-styled gown accented with an empire waist, fitted bodice decorated with embroidery and pearls, short sleeves and a scoop neckline. Her pearl and rhinestone headband held a detachable shoulder-length veil accented with scattered pearls. Serving in the wedding were Bethany Alleman, maid of honor; Kelly Smith, maid; and Sarah Ledet and Emily Bourg, flower girls. A reception was given by the couple's family at Ellendale Country Club. The bride's cake was a traditional three-tier cake separated with columns and accented with strands of pearls and fresh flowers. The couple will reside in Houma. HUDSON-HEBERT Jennifer Marie Hudson of Lafayette and Benton James Hebert of Lafayette, formerly of Thibodaux were married at 1:30 p.m. May 12, 2001, at the Cathedral of St. John. The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Darlene Decell. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernel Bacon of Baton Rouge, Mr. and Mrs. George Irwin of Baton Rouge, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hudson of Norwood and Eugene and Dolores White of Baton Rouge. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hebert of Thibodaux. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hebert of Gray, and the late J.C. and Rosie Ross of Forest Hill. The Rev. Gary Shexnayder officiated at the ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal tulle ball gown that featured a fitted corset styled bodice in a diamond pattern decorated with rhinestones and spaghetti straps. Her antique gold tiara held a cathedral-length veil of bridal illusion edged in gold. She carried a bouquet of porcelina roses, mini calla lili es and tulips. The three-tier traditional strawberry, lemon and chocolate filled cake was decorated with butter cream frosting and accented with pearls in a diamond pattern. The groom's two-tier chocolate cake was decorated with strawberries and chocolate swirls. The couple will reside in Lafayette.
