The bride is the daughter of Donald and Terry Blanchard of Bourg. She is the granddaughter of Lottie Blanchard of Houma, the late Dewey Blanchard, Florence Moore of Houma and the late Dalton Moore Sr. Parents of the groom are Patrick and Debra Neal of Houma. He is the grandson of Ginette and Dennis Neal of Bourg, Rita Lapeyrouse of Houma and the late Morris Lapeyrouse. The Rev. Bert Heise officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was give n in marriage by her father. The bride wore a formal satin gown with short sleeves and empire top overlaid with re-embroidered lace. The square neckline and short sleeves were accented with clusters of seed pearls and featured a square back with bow and a princess panel skirt that flowed into a detachable train. Her headpiece was clusters of ivory flowers accented with tear-drop pearls that held a double--tier veil of ivory illusion with scalloped edging. She carried a dozen hand-tied champagne roses accented autumn blend and greenery. Serving in the wedding were Toni Blanchard, maid of honor; Kim Blanchard, Stacey Martin, Laura Neal, Nikki Rodriguez and Christina Doiron, maids; and Ashley Domangue, junior maid. Carey Doiron was the best man; Kyle Bergeron, Clint McCorkel, Phillip Martin, Brandon Carrier and Lance Pellegrin, groomsmen; Aaron Rhodes, junior groomsmen; Gage Domangue, ring bearer; and Irby Bergeron and Dane Duthu, ushers. A reception was given by the couple at the Houma Municipal Auditorium. The ivory three-tier cake was accented with fresh champagne roses accented with autumn blend colors. The groom's cake was chocolate with a Saints football scene. The couple will r eside in Houma. GASTON-BRUNO Tracie Ann Gaston and Martin "Tony" Bruno III of Houma were married at 1 p.m. Nov. 10, 2001, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Houma. The bride is the daughter of Billy and Tammy Gaston of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Morris Soudelier Sr., the late Florence Soudelier, Sedric and Elsie Plaisance, and the late Wilbur Gaston. Parents of the groom are Martin and Eileen Bruno of Houma. He is the grandson of Lucille Jeanfreau, the late Alfred Jeantreau, Cecilia Bruno of New Orelans and the late Martin Bruno Sr. Th Rev. Gerard C. Hayes officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore a white satin off-the-shoulder long-sleeve gown accented with pearls, rhinestones and sequins. The cut-out heart-shaped back was accented with pearls and the back peplum and cathedral-length train were trimmed with lace cut-outs. Her matching headpiece held a waist-length veil of double-tier bridal illusion with satin trim. She carried a teardrop bouquet of white roses accented with greenery. Serving in the wedding were Rachel Gaston, maid of honor; Kimberly Bruno, Jennifer Bruno, Tammy Parfait Rachel Hudson and Renee' Gaston, maids; and Heather Simmons, flower girl. Christopher Bruno was the bestman; Nicholas Gaston, Joshua Boudreaux, Greg Jeanfreau, Anthony Hudson and Brek Cupp, groomsman; Dain Usey, ring bearer; and Morris Soudelier Jr. and John Tetlow, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's parents at East -Houma Lions Club. The three-tier cake was accented with angels, doves and hearts.
