Foret-Geiger

Kristin Foret of Bayou Blue and Joel Geiger of Houma were married at 7 p.m. July 
17, 2004, in the Bayou Blue home of the bride's grandparents.

The bride is the daughter of Christy Lynn Robertson of Bayou Blue.

She is the granddaughter of Floyd and Mary Blanchard Robertson.

Parents of the groom are Benjamin and Rose Webre Geiger of Houma.

He is the grandson of Florence Champagne Webre of Houma and the late Sidney 
Webre.

Justice of the Peace Robert "Yogi" Naquin officiated at the double-ring ceremony 
in which the bride was given in marriage by her mother.

The bride wore a white sleeveless satin mermaid gown beaded and embroidered with 
swarvoski crystals accented with pearls and court train.

She carried a Victorian-style bouquet of roses.

A reception was given by and at the home of the bride's grandparents.

The bride and groom's cakes were double-tiers with lace and butter-cream 
frosting and were accented with columns and a shell border.

The couple will reside in Houma.
