The date preceding the announcement is the date of posting on the WWW. ============================= September 28. 2004 10:31AM Duplantis-Thompson [Photo] Mr. and Mrs. Jeremie (Alison Duplantis) Thompson Alison Duplantis and Jeremie Thompson, both of Houma, were married at 7 p.m. June 11, 2004, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. The bride is the daughter of David and Angela Duplantis of Houma. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evance Adams of Gray, Denis Duplantis of Houma and Lillian Duplantis of French Gulch, Calif. Parents of the groom are Guy Thompson and Anna Foret Thompson. He is the grandson of Alice Ray and the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Foret. The Rev. Clyde Mahler officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a white strapless gown with A-line skirt and beaded bodice with open front detail and cathedral length train. Her headband of Austrian crystals held her elbow length single-tier veil. She carried a bouquet of a dozen silk light yellow roses. Serving in the wedding were Erica Duplantis, maid of honor; Michelle Gaudet, Sandi Vaughn and Lera Blanchard, maids; Sara Guyan, junior maid; and Emily Duplantis, flower girl. Dean Click was the best man; Danny Foret, Philip Kebodeaux and Joshua Thompson, groomsmen; Jamie Authement, ring bearer; and Denis Duplantis Jr. and Bradley Kebodeaux, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's parents at East Park Recreation Center. The wedding cake was four tiers. The couple will reside in Houma.
