The date preceding the announcement is the date of posting on the WWW. ============================= September 28. 2004 10:40AM Gautreaux-Trosclair [Photo] Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Alyssa Gautreaux) Trosclair Alyssa Gautreaux of Thibodaux and Carl Trosclair of Chackbay were married at 1 p.m. June 5, 2004, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. The bride is the daughter of Brenda Gautreaux of Thibodaux and the late Ronald Gautreaux. She is the granddaughter of the late Bobby and Fay Richard, the late Clifford Gautreaux, and Luciella Gautreaux of Labadieville. Parents of the groom are Carl and Julia Trosclair of Chackbay. He is the grandson of the late Wilson Ockman, Margaret Ockman of Chackbay, the late Carl Trosclair, Dot Trosclair of Thibodaux and Faye Benoit of Chackbay. The Rev. Joshua Rodrigue officiated at the double-ring ceremony in which the bride was given in marriage by her brother, Ronnie Gautreaux. The bride wore a white A-line gown with fitted beaded bodice with full skirt and train edged with a beaded-lace border. Her double-tiered elbow-length veil of silk illusion was held by a beaded comb. She carried a bouquet of fresh red roses. Serving in the wedding were Aimee Gautreaux, maid of honor; Jill Dawson, Emilee Trosclair and Stacy Richard, maids; and Alayna Guillot, flower girl. Keith Neal was the best man; Ronnie Gautreaux, Shane Trosclair and Steven Trosclair, groomsmen; Keena Trosclair, Mary Vinson and Christy David, readers; Matthew Griffin and Zachary Blanchard, ring bearers; and David Ockman and Conrad Gautreaux, ushers. A reception was given by the bride's mother at Howard Johnson in Thibodaux. The five-tier white wedding cake was topped with 150 red roses. The groom's cake was a double-layer chocolate chip cookie cake depicting a Southeastern Louisiana University baseball theme. The couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
