Bergeron, the former Miss Aline Bonvillain, 56 years old, died at her residence on Broad Street, just after midnight Saturday. The deceased, a native of Terrebonne leaves her widow and eight children, two sons, Irving and Ernest, Jr., and six daughters, Mdms. Israel Lirette, Howard Trahan, Carroll Sampay and Misses Rena, Hilda and Rita. Funeral services were held at the St. Francis de Sales at 5 p.m., Saturday, February 21, with interment in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by the Chauvin Funeral home. ========================== JOSEPH DASPIT Jr. Gibson, La. Last rites were solemnized at 3 p.m. Saturday for Joseph Daspit, Jr., 23 year- old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Daspit of Bayou Black. The young man succumbed at the home of his parents following a long illness. Father Cyprien A. Foret, pastor, officiated at the rites held at St. Anthony's church on Bayou Black with interment following in the church cemetery. The deceased is survived by his parents, four sisters, Sara, Rita, Mildred and Etta and one brother, John. ========================== GILLIS NAQUIN Last rites were held at the St. Francis de Sales Church Saturday at 4 p.m. for Gillis Naquin, 26 years old, who died in a New Orleans hospital Friday morning. The deceased, a native of Terrebonne, leaves his widow, the former Miss Elise Ledet, a daughter, Brenda Ann; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Naquin and a brother, Harry Naquin. Interment was in the St. Francis de Sales cemetery, and funeral arrangements were by the Chauvin Funeral Home. ========================== CLAY SAVOIE Last rites were held at the Chauvin Funeral Home Saturday Feb 21 at 3 p.m. for Clay Savoie, 74 years old who died at his residence at Pointe-aux-Chenes Friday morning. The deceased, a native of Terrebonne, leaves his widow, the former Miss Hilda LeBlanc, two daughters, Mesdames Prevost Matherne and Wilfred Authement; three sons, Elio, Hilber and Walton. Interment was in the Matherne cemetery at Bayou Blue, and funeral arrangements were by the Chauvin Funeral Home. ========================== ==========================
