W. ROUEN, MRS. Mrs. D. W. Rouen Dies in Beaumont Mrs. D. W. Rouen, aged 53 years, daughter of Mrs. J. P. Aycock of Houma, died at her residence in Beaumont, Texas, Friday, March 11, following a heart attack. Funeral services were held in St. Anthony's church with interment in Magnolia cemetery, Beaumont. Survivors are the husband and three daughters, Mrs. Allen Viator of Beaumont, Mrs. Roy Leu and Mrs. J. C. Stedel of Houston. Funeral services were conducted from the residence to St. Joseph Catholic church with interment in St. Joseph's cemetery, Little Caillou, at 10:00 a.m. April 3. Survivors are the husband, Willis LeBouef, three daughters, Ethel, Aline And Thelma LeBouef, and two sons, Raymond and Roland, all of Little Caillou. Daigle Hazel Childress Mrs. Hazel Childress, nee Hazel Savoie, died at 2:00 p.m. April 18 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Funeral services were conducted from the Terrebonne Funeral Home at 2:20 p.m. April 19 to St. Francis de Sales church with interment in Magnolia cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Simon Childress, her mother, Mrs. Ola Savoie of Thibodaux; three brothers and one sister, Adam, Jim, Paul and Agnes Savoie, all of Houma. ========================== Houma Courier, April 22, 1949, Friday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Celeste Henry Mrs. Clovis Henry, nee Celeste Domangue, aged 65 years, died at 4:30 p.m. Apr. 16, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Albert LeCompte, 1312 East Main Street. Funeral services were conducted from the residence to the church of Our Lady of the Most Holy rosary at 4:00 p.m. April 17, with interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Survivors are the husband, Clovis Henry, two sons by a former marriage, Edla and Edgar Rhodes, and one son, Magnus Henry, by the present marriage. Four daughters, Mrs. Cora LeCompte, Mrs. Albert LeCompte, Mrs. Herbert Cuneo of Houma and Mrs. Allie Trosclair of Montegut. ========================== Houma Courier, April 22, 1949, Friday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Henry Hutchinson Henry Clay Hutchinson, aged 64 years, died suddenly at his home in Bourg at 11:00 p.m. April 19. Mr. Hutchinson and his son, Allen had returned from a trip to New Orleans when the elder man complained of feeling ill. The doctor and the priest were sent for but before either arrived, Mr. Hutchinson was dead. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. April 21 from the residence to St. Ann's Catholic church at Bourg with interment in Bisland cemetery. Survivors are two sons, Allen and Walton of Bourg; five daughters, Mrs. Augustin Matherne and Mrs. Walton LeBoeuf of Bourg, and Mrs. Willie Alphonza, Mrs. Beulah Gonzales, and Mrs. Thomas Alphonsa of St. Bernard. Daigle Alex Parr Alex Parr, aged 75 years of 512 Ash Street died at 4:40 a.m. April 14 at Ellender's hospital. Funeral services were conducted from the Chauvin Funeral Home to the church of Our Lady of the Most Holy rosary, with interment in Magnolia cemetery at 4:00 p.m. April 15. He is survived by two sons, Percy and Arthur Parr of Houma; five daughters, Mrs. Clarence Malbrough, Mrs. Joe Kyser, Mrs. Lester Domangue, Mrs. Michel Lapeyrouse and Mrs. Dovie Lapeyrouse, all of Houma. ================================================================================
