Mrs. Guidry Dies Mrs. Adolph Guidry, of Raceland, aged 71, died at 5 a.m. November 12, in New Orleans. Funeral services were conducted from the Chauvin Funerl home at 3:30 p.m. November 13, to Our Lady of Prompt Succcor church, Theriot, with interment in St. Eloi cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Adolph Guidry, and two sons, Harvey of New Orleans, and Wider of Raceland. ============================ Submitted by: Nancy Wright The Houma Courier, November 18, 1949 ARMAND A. PORCHE Armand A. Porche Dies at Residence Funeral services were held for Armand A. Porche, age 41, at 10 a.m. November 10, from his residence on Bayou du Large Rte. to St. Eloi church, Theriot, with interment in St. Eloi cemetery. Death came to Mr. Porche at 8:00 a.m. November 9 at his late residence. He is survived by his widow, the former Jeanne Aycock, three sons, A. J., Rene and Gerald, and four daughters, Mary Jane, Mary Jude, Joan and Bobbie Lee Porche, all of Theriot. Watkins Dies at Residence Mrs. Amos Watkins, nee Liza Toups, aged 75 years, died at 10:45 a.m. November 9, at her residence 812 East Park Avenue. Funeral services were conducted at the residence at 10 a.m. November 11 with interment in Magnolia cemetery. Survivors are the husband, Amos Watkins, one son Herman Dupre of Theriot, and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Domangue and Mrs. Thomas Watkins, both of Houma.
