Daigle J. C. Falgout Joseph C. Falgout, aged 59, of 1132 Academy Street, Houma, died at 8:30 a.m. April 6, in a New Orleans hospital, following a long illness. Funeral services are set for 4:30 p.m. this afternoon in St. Francis de Sales church with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux. Survivors are his widow, the former Lena Marie Champagne, two sons, Emile Franklin and Leo Patrick, of Houma; and five daughters, Mrs. Elmo Bergeron of Gray; Mrs. Charles Dupre, Jr., Mrs. Roger Gonzales, Mrs. Cyril Gaubert of Thibodaux, and Mrs. Lloyd Hebert of Houma. Terrebonne Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. ============================= Houma Courier, April 7, 1950, Friday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Louis Parr Louis J. Parr, 56, a native of Houma and a resident of Alexandria for the past 30 years, died at the Baptist Hospital in Alexandria March 23. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25, in the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral with the Very Rev. Leon R. Aycock officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Memorial Park in Pineville, LA. Son of the late Felicien Parr and Eva Lirette of Houma, he is survived by his widow, the former Hatie Spahr of Alexandria; one brother, Francis J. and onen sister, Miss Una Parr of Houma. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and of George M. Daigle Edna Duplantis Mrs. John M. Duplantis, nee Edna Josephine Hebert, 65, died at her residence on Little Caillou at 6 p.m. April 11. Funeral services were conducted from the residence with a requiem Mass at the church of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Little Caillou. Interment was in St. Elie cemetery. She is survived by her husband, John M. Duplantis, of Little Caillou; five sons, Hubert, Easton, Elwin, L.J. and J.R. Duplantis of Houma; four daughters, Mrs. Louis Belanger of Houma; Mrs. Bernard Wilta of Lafayette, Mrs. Oliver Tucker of Alabama; Mrs. Ruby Gale of St. Louis, Mo., and 20 grandchildren. Daigle Rose May Chauvin Mrs. Ettienne Chauvin, nee Rose May Savoie, aged 79, died at 3:20 pm April 10 at her late residence on the Bayou Blue route. Funeral services were conducted from the home to the Bayou Blue Methodist church with interment in Matherne cemetery. Survivors are one son, Wilson Chauvin of Westwego, and two daughters, Angen Chauvin of Houma, and Mrs. George Detiveau of Bourg. Chauvin Funeral home had charge of arrangements.
