Mrs. Augustin Authement, nee Elvire LaBruyere, aged 80 years, died at 10:30 a.m. 
April 30 at Ellender Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted from the Chauvin Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. May 
1 with religious services at St. Joseph church, Little Caillou. Interment was in 
St. Joseph cemetery.

Survivors are three sons, Whitney and Louis Authement of Montegut, and Elois of 
Houma; two daughters, Mrs. Morgan Authement, and Miss Edna Authement of Houma.

Ruby Simons
 
Mrs. Ruby Hamilton Simons, widow of the late Robert Henderson Simons of Boyce, 
La., died April 14 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank A. Vought of 
Paincourtville.

Funeral services were held at 4:15 p.m. in Kramer Funeral home, Alexandria, with 
interment in Mt. Oliver cemetery.

Survivors in addition to Mrs. Vought are two daughters, Mrs. Marvin D. Queen of 
Weatherford, Texas, Mrs. G.W. Dunbar of San Antonio, and four sons, Willard L. 
Simons of Boyce, Robert of Port Allen, Gerald of Ft. Worth, Texas, and dr. 
Harold Simons of Linden, Texas; 20 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.

Odressie J. Ayo, aged 45, died at 1 a.m. May 10 at his residence in Port Arthur, 
Texas.

Funeral services were conducted from the Chauvin Funeral Home yesterday, May 11 
at 4:30 p.m. with religious services in St. Francis de Sales church and 
interment in St. Francis de Sales cemetery.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. leonine Abribat, Mrs. George Houch and Mrs. 
Ernest Lorch, all of New Orleans.

Otto Henry Belanger, 82, died at 10 p.m. May 5 at his late residence, 712 Bond 
Street.

Funeral services were conducted from Chauvin Funeral Home at 4 p.m. May 6 to St. 
Matthew Episcopal church with interment in Magnolia cemetery.

Survivors are one son, Lawrence of New Orleans, one daughter, Mrs. Hayes Eschete 
of Houma, three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Marcel Blanchard, nee Alzena Dupre, aged 72 years, died at her residence on 
Grand Caillou route at 5:20 a.m., May 8.

Funeral services were conducted from the Chauvin Funeral home to Our Lady of the 
Most Holy Rosary at 2 p.m. May 9 with interment in St. Ann Cemetery at Bourg.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Chester, of Little Caillou, Macon of 
Grand Caillou, Allison of Theriot, and Marcel, Jr., Sergeant at Camp Hood, 
Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Olivier Trahan, of Little Caillou, Mrs. Anthony 
Hebert, Mrs. Allen Pitre and Mrs. Joe Falgout of Montegut.

Mrs. Dudley LeBeouf, age 32, the former Paula Marie Young, died at 5 p.m. May 9 
at Ellender Hospital.

Funeral services were held in Eunice, La., on the morning of May 11. The Chauvin 
Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, Dudley LeBeouf................
