Daigle Elvire Authement Mrs. Augustin Authement, nee Elvire LaBruyere, aged 80 years, died at 10:30 a.m. April 30 at Ellender Hospital. Funeral services were conducted from the Chauvin Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. May 1 with religious services at St. Joseph church, Little Caillou. Interment was in St. Joseph cemetery. Survivors are three sons, Whitney and Louis Authement of Montegut, and Elois of Houma; two daughters, Mrs. Morgan Authement, and Miss Edna Authement of Houma. ================================= Houma Courier, May 5, 1950, Friday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Ruby Simons Mrs. Ruby Hamilton Simons, widow of the late Robert Henderson Simons of Boyce, La., died April 14 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank A. Vought of Paincourtville. Funeral services were held at 4:15 p.m. in Kramer Funeral home, Alexandria, with interment in Mt. Oliver cemetery. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Vought are two daughters, Mrs. Marvin D. Queen of Weatherford, Texas, Mrs. G.W. Dunbar of San Antonio, and four sons, Willard L. Simons of Boyce, Robert of Port Allen, Gerald of Ft. Worth, Texas, and dr. Daigle Odressie Ayo Odressie J. Ayo, aged 45, died at 1 a.m. May 10 at his residence in Port Arthur, Texas. Funeral services were conducted from the Chauvin Funeral Home yesterday, May 11 at 4:30 p.m. with religious services in St. Francis de Sales church and interment in St. Francis de Sales cemetery. Funeral services were conducted from Chauvin Funeral Home at 4 p.m. May 6 to St. Matthew Episcopal church with interment in Magnolia cemetery.
