Funeral services were conducted from the residence at 9 a.m. February 2 to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary church for religious rites and interment in St. Francis de Sales cemetery with the Chauvin Funeral home in charge. Survivors are his widow, the former Laura Lapeyre, three sons, Louis, Edward and Roy of Texas, and five daughters Mrs. Felix Malbrough, Mrs. Adolphe Ledet, Mrs. Alfred Ledet of Houma; Mrs. Sidney LeBoeuf of Montegut and Mrs. Paul Burns of New Orleans. =================================== Submitted by: Nancy Wright The Houma Courier, February 9, 1951, page 5, col. 5 EDWARD TEMPLET Edward Templet, Accident Victim, Buried Thursday. Services were held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning from the Chauvin Funeral home and St. Francis de Dales Catholic church for Edward L. Templet, 44, who was fatally injured Tuesday morning in a tractor accident in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Interment was in St. Francis de Sales cemetery, No. 2. Templet was a brother of Mrs. Sidney Landry of Houma. He was driving a tractor pulling a tree when the cable broke and the tractor overturned, injuring him fatally. Originally from Napoleonville, Templet is survived by a brother, Hyoblite Templet of Tacoma, Washington and his sister Mrs. Landry. ===============================================================================
