Daigle Eva Duplantis Funeral services were held from the First National Funeral Home and Holy Rosary Catholic church Monday morning for Mrs. Eva Duplantis, 70, who died of burns Sunday. Mrs. Duplantis, a semi-invalid, succumbed at 1:05 Sunday afternoon from burns received earlier in the day when she fell over a gas stove and set her clothing afire. The accident happened at her residence, 225 St. Michel St. She suffered third degree burns about the body. Mrs. Duplantis is survived by her husband, Luke Duplantis; three sons, Louis, Wiltz and Irwin Duplantis, all of Houma; and four daughters, Mrs. Justin Fanguy, Houma; Mrs. Charles Martin, Little Caillou; and Mrs. Ray Thibodeaux, St. Bernard. ================================ Houma Courier, Oct. 26, 1951, Friday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Anthony Triche Funeral services for Anthony Triche, 59, were held from his late residence on Pitre Lane, with religious rites in the church of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary at 3 p.m., Tuesday, October the 23. Interment was in St. Francis de Sales cemetery with the Chauvin Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Triche died at 10 p.m. Sunday, October 21 at his residence. He is survived by his widow, the former Clothilde Marcel , four sons, Cleveland, Anthony, Claude and Clovis and three daughters, Miss Daisy Triche, Mrs. Samon Bergeron, and Mrs. Ernest Duplantis, all of Houma. ===============================================================================
