FIELDS Lawrence A. Fields, 44, of 6938 Alden Place, Baton Rouge, died at 11 a. m. Thursday, March 27, at Our Laduy of the Lake Sanitarium after an extended illness. A native of Houma, Mr. Fields had resided in Baton Rouge for the past 10 years, where he was employed by the Ethyl Corporation. Funeral services were held at 2:15 p. m. Friday, March 28, at the Rabenhorst Funeral parlors in Baton Rouge, followed by religious rites at 2:30 p. m. at the church of Our Lady of Mercy. Officiating were Father Louis Marrineaux, pastor, assisted by Father Paul Gaudin of Marrero and Father Austin Wyshoff of St.Amant. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Survivors are his wife, the former Estelle Lorio of Baton Rouge; his mother, Mrs. Arthur Fields, two brothers Magnus and Earl; three sisters, Mrs. Leo Boyne, Misses Ruby and Valerie Fields, all of Houma, and several nieces and nephews. ==============================================
