Gilbert Adams

Gilbert Adams, 23 (or 25) of Schriever died May 27 at 2:2_ am in Thibodaux of a 
stroke suffered May 25. A member of the family said that he had suffered a 
previous stroke about 2 years ago and that both strokes are the result of a 
wound received in Korea.
He was a 1950 graduate of Terrebonne High school and was an employee of the 
State Highway department.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Bourgeois Adams, a son, Steven; his parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Ormand Adams Sr. of Chacahoula.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 28, at 8:30 am from Landry's Funeral home,
Thibodaux to St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Chacahoula.

Lonie J. Daigle, (age unreadable), of ___ Wood St., died May 28 at 8 pm at his 
residence.
Funeral services were held May 29 at 4 pm from Chauvin's Funeral home to St. 
Francis de Sales church. Interment was in St. Francis de Sales cemetery No. 1.
Survivors are four brothers, Andrew Daigle of New Orleans, Clovis Daigle of 
Golden Meadow, Elmer and Yussa Daigle, both of Houma.
