LEO JOSEPH USIE   

Leo Joseph Usie, 83, succumbed December 26 at 10 ?.m. at his residence in
Chauvin, after an illness of about eight weeks. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press time. Interment will be in the St. Joseph cemetery.

Born in Montegut of the late Leo Usie, Sr. and the late Engeline Naquin, he was 
a resident of Terrebonne parish all of his life.  Mr. Usie was a retired 
laborer.

He is survived by his widow, the former Julianne Fields; two sons, Andrew of
Chauvin and Elwood of Montegut; three daughters, Misses Pearly and Sophie Usie 
of Chauvin and Mrs. Joe Dupre of Montegut; 15 grandchildren; 49 great 
grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

First National Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
