Daigle Miss Daisy Bergeron Miss Daisy Bergeron, 60 year old resident of Bayou Boeuf, died in New Orleans on Monday, April 28 at 6:35 p.m. Funeral services were held last Wednesday at _ a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Anthony cemetery on Bayou Black under direction of Chauvin Funeral Home. Survivors include her father, Bide Bergeron and a brother and two sisters. Daigle Mrs. Marguerite Brunet Guidry Funeral services for Mrs. Luke Guidry were held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Mrs. Guidry, the former Marguerite Brunet, died at her residence, 2099 West Park Ave., at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29. She was 78 years of age. She was buried in St. Bridget cemetery, Schriever. Funeral arrangements were under direction of Chauvin Funeral Home. Surviving are: her husband; two sons, Euclid and Clarence Guidry, both of Houma; two daughters, Mrs. Alex Dupre and Mrs. Beulah Kervin, of Houma. Daigle John Thibodeaux John Thibodeaux, 80 year old lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish, died at Terrebonne General Hospital at 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30. A retired sugar planter, he came to Houma from Grand Caillou approximately 23 years ago. He and his wife, the former Florence Luke, resided at 201 Suthon Ave. and had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment will be in Magnolia cemetery under direction of Chauvin Funeral Home. Surviving, besides his widow are: three sons, Irving and Ruby, both of Houma and Addie Thibodeaux of Thibodaux; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford ?Cook Chauvin and eight grandchildren. ============================================================================== Houma, LA; Courier; May 23, 1958, Friday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Mrs. Inez Labit Arceneaux Mrs. Ellis Arceneaux of 7817 Panola St. in New Orleans died May 20 at 3:03 p.m. at Charity hospital. She is the former Inez Labit, resident of Bourg and Houma until she moved to New Orleans some 22 years ago. Funeral services were held May 22 at 9 a.m. from Chauvin Funeral Home to St. Ann?s Catholic Church in Bourg with interment at St. Ann?s Cemetery. Mrs. Arceneaux, 54 years old, is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. James Denegas, Mrs. June Martin, Miss Inez Arceneaux and Sister Mary of St. Lambert, all of New Orleans; one son, Rondal of New Orleans; also five brothers and three sisters. One brother is a resident of this parish. He is Lucius Dufrene of 596 Columbus St. ==================================== Houma, LA; Courier; May 23, 1958, Friday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Clifford J. LeBlanc Clifford J. LeBlanc, Sr., 74, died yesterday at 1:15 a.m. at his home at 6:10 Goode St. after a short illness of one month duration. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today from Chauvin Funeral Home to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment will be in Magnolia cemetery. LeBlanc was a school bus driver for 26 years before his retirement eight years ago. His wife, the former Lydia Ladesiur, passed away in 1946. LeBlanc is survived by two sons, Rene and John, both of Houma; and four daughters, Mrs. Columbus Chauvin of New Orleans, Mrs. Allen LeBoeuf, Miss Joyce LeBlanc and Miss Eunice LeBlanc of Houma. Daigle Clotair Boudreaux Clotair Boudreaux, 91 year old resident of Bourg, expired May 28 at 2:35 p.m. at the St. Ann rectory, where he was making his home. The funeral service was scheduled for this morning at 8:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Hook and Ladder cemetery in Gretna. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include three sons, Valco and Nicholas of Diamond and Achille of Gretna; two daughters, Mrs. Bernard Falcon of White Castle and Mrs. Marie Fisher of Bourg. Exnicious, age 89, died at his residence at 3111 Betty Ann St. May 26 at 4 p.m. Funeral services were held the following day at 4 p.m. from Chauvin Funeral Home to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with interment at St. Anthony cemetery at Bayou Black. He is survived by four sons, Louis Jr., and Richard, both of Houma, and Irby and Luby, both of Morgan City; also two daughters, Mrs. Leonce Leonard of Houma and Mrs. Horace Pitre of Abbeville. Daigle Mrs. Emma Lude A former resident of Houma, Mrs. Emma Bonvillain Lude, died this week at her residence on Burbon St. in New Orleans. She was born at Bayou Black. Details on the time of her death and funeral were unknown by the Houma Courier press time, however interment will be at St. Anthony cemetery at Bayou Black. Chauvin is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Lude, adopted.
