Daigle Allie Alexander Bergeron Last Rites Held for A. Bergeron on February 24 Funeral services were held for Allie Alexander Bergeron, 52, February 24 at 8 am from St. Francis de Sales Church. Bergeron died at his residence at Southdown Plantation, Wednesday February 22 at 6 pm. He is survived by his wife, the former Georgia Walker; two sons, Terry of Houma and Carroll of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Perry Bergeron, New Orleans. Eight grandchildren also survive. He is a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Wilfred Bergeron. He was a lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish and was an employee of Southdown Sugars. Interment was in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. Braud of Thibodaux Gaston Lawrence Braud, President of the Thibodaux Boiler Works, and a director of the Citizen's Bank and Trust Company for the past twenty-five years, died at his home at 9:55 am Wednesday, February 22. A native and life-long resident of Thibodaux, he was married to the former Elssie Iliff Williams of Pennsylvania, for the past thirty-six years. Daigle Joseph Verret Joseph Verret of Theriot, 68, died at Charity Hospital, New Orleans, Thursday, February 23 at 11 am. The body remained at the home of his son Dalton Verret, Theriot, until time of the last rites, which were held Saturday, February 25, at 3:30 pm from St. Eloi Catholic Church. The deceased is survived by four sons, Wilson, John, Dalton, and Edville; three daughters, Mesdames John Norris, Anthony Foret and Miss Hilda Verret. Interment in the St. Eloi Church Cemetery. ===============================================================================
