The deceased was a native of Terrebonne and lifelong resident of Houma, and is survived by one brother, Dalferes Arcement, of New Orleans; and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Hebert of Houma. Funeral services were Monday, [sic] March 21, at 10 a. m. from the Chauvin Funeral Home to St. Francis de Sales Church. Daigle Houma Courier, March 25, 1966, page 4 col. 3 Adam Crochet Rites Monday Adam Jean Baptiste Crochet, 88, died on January 31 at 2:25 a.m. at this residence, Montegut. He was a retired farmer and trapper. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, February 1 at 9 a.m. from the residence to Sacred Heart Catholic church with interment in the Dugas cemetery. He is survived by his widow, three sons, four daughters. Twenty two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive. Chauvin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. =====================================================
