Mr. Barrilleaux, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Krotz Springs, died Monday at Opelousas General Hospital, Opelousas. He was a lumber inspector for Krotz Springs Lumber Co. and a veteran of World War l. Mr. Barrilleaux is survived by four sons, Hunter and Phil, both of Baton Rouge; John Gilbert of New Orleans and Kenneth of Houma; three daughters, Mrs. Jack Atkinson Jr. and Miss Kathleen Barrilleaux, both of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Ricks Karlsson of Honnolulu; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Michel of Houma, Mrs. Leo Brashear of New Roads and Mrs. Moody Irvy of Gulfport, Miss.; 14 grandchildren, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. John A. Hunter Sr. of Baton Rouge. Blanchard Rites Scheduled Friday Funeral srvices for Alphonse Blanchard Sr., age 84, a native and life long resident of Bourg, are scheduled for Friday, October 21 from the residence of Mrs. Herbert Robichaux, Bourg, with religious services at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The hour of the services had not been set at press time. Mr. Blanchard, husband of the late Ezoline Matherne, died October 19 at Terrebonne General Hospital. He is survived by four sons, Emile, Henry, Alphonse Jr. and Alfred; and three daughters, Mrs. Macon Bascle, Mrs Herbert Robichaux and Mrs Mae Schouest; 39 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. EDWARDS Edwards Funeral Services Oct. 18 Funeral services were held at 11 am October 18 for George B. Edwards, 56, a native and life long resident of New Orleans. Rites were conducted from the Leipz-Egan Funeral Home followed by a Requiem High Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church, with burial in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1. Mr. Edwards is survived by his mother, Mrs. Marie Derks, New Orleans; four brothers, Chaude, James and David R., New Orleans and Gerald E. of Houma; and four sisters, Mrs. Sterling A. Millet, Mrs. John Dwyer, Mrs. Joseph Regusa, New Orleans, and Mrs. Leroy Stiebing of Texas. His father, David U. Funeral services were held Oct. 10 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Jeffreys of that city, who died on Sunday. Officiating minister was the Reverend Charles Williams. Interment was in Richburg Cemetery in Hattiesburg. Survivors, in addition to his parents, are his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Overstreet of Hattiesburg and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Jeffreys Sr. of Houma. ===============================
