She was 77 years of age and a native of Terrebonne Parish. Known to many Houma residents as "Mrs. Belle", she will be remembered for her pioneer work in education, home demonstration and public welfare. She was Welfare Visitor for the Terrebonne Parish Welfare Department for 16 [18?] years before her retirement in 1956. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Ned LeBlanc, New Orleans, and Dan and Abel LeBlanc Jr., both of Houma; five daughters, Mrs. Myrden Pellegrin, Mrs. Yvonne Bethancourt, Mrs. Maurice Rome and Mrs. Billy Fakier, all of Houma, and Mrs. Andrew Landry of Jackson, Mississippi and 47 grandchildren. Also surviving her are three sisters, Mrs. Van Boudreaux and Mrs. [sic] Anita Guidry of Houma and Mrs. Earl Boudreaux, of Montegut. Funeral services for Mrs. LeBlanc were scheduled for Thursday, February 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with interment in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. Daigle Mrs. Bergeron Expires at TGH MARCELINE BERGERON Mrs Ivy Bergeron, nee Marceline Dubois, expired Friday, February 13 at Terrebonne General Hospital. She was 49 years of age. She is survived by her husband; one son, Sherrill Bergeron; and her father, Adam Dubois. Mrs Bergeron is also survived by four brothers, Lotris, Leroy, Avis and Paul Dubois of Houma; and four sisters, Mrs Leon Labit Sr., Mrs Paul Duplantis, Houma, Mrs Edmond Falgout, Belle Chasse and Mrs Houston Authement, L.C. Funeral services were held at 11 am Wednesday, February 15, from the Funeral Home with religious services at St. Gregory Barigo Catholic Church. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. Daigle Savoie Services Scheduled Thurs. ARTHUR SAVOIE Funeral services for Arthur Antoine Savoie were scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday, February 16 at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church, with interment in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2. Mr Savoie died February 14 at his residence, 202 St. Louis St., Houma. He was 62 years of age. He was a retired farmer and a native and life long resident of Terrebonne Parish. Mr Savoie is survived by his wife, the former Beatrice Bourg; six sons, Paul, Murphy, Nelson and Merlin of Houma, Sterling and Arthur J. of Thibodaux; one daughter, Mrs Jimmy Theriot, Marrero; and seven grandchildren. Three brothers, Abel, Houma, Addis, New Orleans, Morris, Little Caillou, and one sister, Mrs Percy Parr, Houma, also survive him. Terrebonne Dies in Galliano MORRIS TERREBONNE Morris J. Terrebonne Sr. died Tuesday, February 14, at Our Lady of the Sea Hospital, Galliano. He was 60 years of age. He is survived by his wife, the former Ora Lee; two sons, Sgt. Morris Terrebonne Jr. of Ft. Riley, Kansas and Raymond Terrebonne of Harvey; four daughters, Mrs O'Neil Plaisance of Cut Off, Mrs I. _arwin Lafont of Houma, Mrs Richard Thorp of Normal, Ill. And Miss Anise Terrebonne of Harvey; and 19 grandchildren. Also surviving him are two sisters, Mrs Jeffery Guillbeau and Emma Terrebonne of Golden Meadow. Funeral services were scheduled for 10 am from the Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, with interment in the church cemetery. ============================
