He was owner and operator of the United Cab Company in Houma, and a World War II veteran. He was a native of Terrebonne Parish. Services for Mr. Domangue, who resided at 727 Cypress Obit ran off copy. Interment was in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. Mr. Grasso, 64, died Tuesday, July 11, at his residence, 126 Central Ave. He was a native and lifelong resident of Houma. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille Martino Grasso; three sons, Charles and Anthony Grasso of Houma, and Thomas of New Orleans; and four grandchildren. Also surviving him are two brothers, Felix Grasso of Houma; and Sam Grasso of Scotsdale; and one sister, Mrs. S. J. Catanese of Houma. One sister, Mrs. Joe Frisella, preceded him in death. He was a resident of Cut Off, Louisiana. Survivors include five sons, Eric, Gus, Reny, roland, and Joseph Nelson; and three daughters, Mrs. Floris D. Williams, Mrs. Gertrude Wells, and Mrs. Lucille Johnson. Interment was in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1 Mr. Taylor died Tuesday, July 11. He was a long time automobile salesman for a local dealer and resided at 1505 West Main Street. A native of Meridian, Mississippi, he had lived in Houma for the past eight years. Survivors include his wife, the former Hazel Pritchard; two sons, James M. Taylor and Robert M. Taylor, of Houma; and one daughter, Mrs. Robert Wood of Baton Rouge. She was a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of South down Plantation. Survivors include her husband, Nathaniel Jackson; four sons, Clarence, Huey, Delmond and Leroy Jackson; four daughters, Mrs. Hester Mae Shepherd; and misses Ora Mae, Mary Lee and Elaine Jackson; and 27 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his four sons, Walter, Warren, Valcour and Alcide Rodrigue Jr., and Whitney Richaud and Herman Loupe. Mr. Rodrigue, 72, died Wednesday, July 19, at his residence, 121 North Main Street, Lockport. He was a native of Bourg and a resident of Lockport for the past 28 years. He was a retired boat builder and carpenter. In addition to his four sons, survivors include his widow, the former Mary Rose Welch; seven daughters, Mrs. Willis Cunningham, Mrs. Bill Aaron, Mrs. Gene Bourgeois, and Mrs. Johnny Johnston, all of Lockport; Mrs. Whitney Richard, Larose; Mrs. Irby Toups, Matthews; and Mrs. Herman Loupe, Houma; 38 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Also surviving him are one brother, Fildon Rodrigue, Pointe-aux-Chenes; and two sisters, Mrs. Omar Galley, Bridge City, and Mrs. Adr Off. His first wife, the former Annie Delaune, preceded him in death. Toups, a native of Houma, and a resident of Shreveport, died Tuesday, July 17, in a Shreveport hospital. She was 84. Survivors include three sons, William Toups, Plaquemine; Wilson Toups, Orange, Texas; and Jim Doiron, New Iberia; three daughters, Mrs. L. H. O?Donnell, Shreveport; Mrs. George Monk, New Orleans; and Mrs. C. P. Landry, Texas City, Tex, 23 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Also surviving her are three sisters, Mrs. Robert Polaski and Mrs. Jules Breaux, both of Morgan City; and Mrs. Carrie Durk, Port Arthur, Texas. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine?s Catholic Church, the Rev. F. S. Foret officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport. A rosary was recited Tuesday night at 7:30 at the funeral home. Interment was in St. Ann Cemetery in Bourg. Mrs. Jarveaux was the mother of Mrs. Haydee Portier, Hazel, Nora, Sterling and Luby Jarveaux, all of Houma, and Mrs. Emil Larsen and Rita Jarveaux, both of New Orleans. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one brother, Calvin Duplantis and one sister Mrs. Robert Hebert of Houma. Preceding Mrs. Jarveaux in death were her husband, Edmund Jarveaux; and three sons, Benjamin, Frankie, and Clifford. Descendants of the deceased includes two sons, Norman and Alton of Bourg; two daughters, Mrs. Louella Aucoin and Mrs. Milton Domangue, also of Bourg, eleven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Theophile Rodrigue and Miss Estelle Cantrelle, both of Houma. Mrs. LeCompte died July 25 at the age of 90 years in the DeVille Nursing Home in Donaldsonville. She was a resident of Bourg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcide LeCompte; one son, Nolan; one sister, Leontia Cantrelle; and three brothers, Albert Alphonse and Paul Cantrelle.
