Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 31, 1 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Catholic church. Burial, under the direction of First National Funeral Home, was in the church cemetery. Other than his parents, the baby is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Mrs. Crochet, 78, died Monday, January 29, 1:05 p.m. in Terrebonne General Hospital. She was a native of Morgan City. She was preceded in death by her husband. Interment, under the direction of First National Funeral Home, was in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. Survivors include two sons, Myer Pisani and Harry Crochet; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley C. Smith, Mrs. Wilma C. Mr. Fitch, 35, died in New Orleans following a lengthy illness. ============================================================== Houma Courier; Feb. 9, 1968 Submitted by: Cynthia Daigle Edna Tucker Daigle Former Resident of Houma Dies in Abbeville ^ Mrs. Edna Tucker Daigle, 89, died in a nursing home in Abbeville Wednesday, February 6 at 2:45 a.m. She formerly made her residence on School Street in Houma. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 8 at the First National Funeral Home, who was in charge of arrangements. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Daigle, wife of the late Emile Daigle Jr., was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Tucker. He was a native of Terrebonne Parish and lifelong resident of Grand Caillou. Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, February 9, 3 p.m. in Christ Baptist Church, Grand Caillou. Interment, under the direction of First National Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie L. Mrs. Marcel, the former Lelia Marie Pinel, expired at Terrebonne General Hospital, February 7, 10:45 a.m. She was a native of Chauvin. The services, under the direction of Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, will be from the home of Mrs. Marcel?s step-daughter, Mrs. Sylvest Lirette, Roosevelt Street, Chauvin. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chauvin. Mrs. Marcel was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Augustan Pinel; two sons, the late Frank and Wilson Marcel; one daughter, the late Mrs. George Authement; three brothers, the late Ernest Pinel Sr., Joseph and Frank Pinel; one sister, the late Mrs. Paul Neil; two half-sisters, the late Mrs. E. Pinel and the late Mrs. Emile Thibodaux; and half brothers, Felician and Lawrence Bourg. She was a resident of 6209 Lorraine, Metairie. A native of Terrebonne Parish, Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joseph Bass. Survivors include three daughters, Miss Maxine Bass of Metairie, Miss Naomi Bass and Mrs. Ruth Hall; one brother, Cyril Cenac of Houma and one sister, Mrs. Nolan Rogers of Houma. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 16 in Holy rosary Catholic Church. Burial, under the direction of Chauvin Funeral Home, will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. He was a native of Houma, but had lived in Jeanerette for the past 20 years. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 11, 2 p.m. in Beautiful Zion Baptist Church with burial in St. Luke Cemetery.
