Daigle Dorothy Defelize Acosta (sic) (Dorothy Defelice Acosta) Mrs. Acosta Dies Feb. 26 At Her Home ^ Mrs. Jules Acosta, 92, died at home 202 Buena Vista, Houma. She was a native of Lafourche Parish, but had resided in Houma for many years. She was the former Dorothy DeFelize. Funeral services were held February 28, 11 a.m., in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment was in the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1, under the direction of Chauvin Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, Robert of Houma, Jules Jr. of Galveston, Tex., Tony of Denver, Colo.; five daughters, Mrs. L. J. Hebert Sr., Mrs. Eula Collins, Mrs. Paul Lirette of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Henry Bergeron of New Orleans and Mrs. A. L. Daigle Harold Collins Sr. Former Houma Resident Dies in Morgan City ^ Harold John Collins, Sr., 52, died Wednesday, February 28, 4 a.m., at his place of business in Morgan City. He was a resident of 101 Myrtle Street, Bayou Vista, and a native of Houma. Mr. Collins was operator of the Collins Home Center of Morgan City. He is survived by his wife, Josephine of Bayou Vista; one son, Harold John Jr. of Bayou Vista; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth C. Garrell of Houma and Mrs. Clara C. LeBoeuf of Lafayette; two brothers, Charles Clay Collins Jr. and Tom R. Collins, both of Houma; and four grandchildren. Daigle Joe Jaccuzzo Mr. Jaccuzzo Dies March 4 ^ A well-known Houma man, Joe Jaccuzzo, 51, died Monday, March 4, 3:10 p.m. in Terrebonne General Hospital following an illness of four months. Mr. Jaccuzzo, a native of Houma, was well known in the city as a gardening enthusiast in the area. His home at 533 Point Street, has been considered on of the showplaces in the city for gardening. He had been a salesman for Quality Chevrolet for more than 20 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1317. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 6, at 9 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment, under the direction of First National Funeral home was in St. Louis Catholic Chapel Cemetery on Bayou Blue. Survivors include his wife, the former Florence Cadiere; his mother, Mrs. Josephine Catanese Jaccuzzo; three daughters Mrs. James Savoie, Mrs. Joanne Voisin and Mrs. Gail Neil, all of Houma, three brothers, Sam, Jimmy and Angelo, all of Houma; two sisters, Mrs. Irving Thibodaux an Mrs. Cecile Runnels, both of Houma; and two grandchildren. Daigle Holly Heffker Holly Heffker Dies Tuesday In Hospital ^ Three year old Holly Mary Heffker died at 2:10 p.m., March 5, in Terrebonne General Hospital. She resided at 205 Hialeah Street. Holly is the daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Landry Heffker of this city and the late Henry J. Heffker. Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, March 7, in Annunciata Catholic church. Burial, under the direction of First National Funeral Home, was in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Other survivors include two brothers, Timothy and Stephen; one sister, Mrs. Donald (Diane) Guidry; and her grandmother, Mrs. Emily Murphy. Lasseigne Sr., 83, succumbed to a heart attack at 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irvin Babin, 436 Sixth Street, where he resided. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 6, 10 a.m., in St. Genevieve Catholic church, Thibodaux. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, under the direction of Landry Funeral Home in Thibodaux. Mr. Lasseigne was preceded in death by his wife, the former Julie Gros. He was a native of Assumption Parish. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 7, 10 a.m. in Terrebonne Full Gospel Church. Interment followed immediately, under the direction of Chauvin F uneral Home, in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Luke, a native of Allen Parish, was 74 years old at the time of her death. She is survived by five sons, Jack, Gilbert and Eston, all of Houma, Ernest of Montana, and Rev. Floyd Luke of Lake Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Hutchinson, Mrs. Al Chauvin and Mrs. Eloise Garrison, all of Houma; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Badgett of Reeves, Mrs. Thelma Hicks of Kinder and Miss Anna Cole of Kinder; two brothers, Albert and Willie Cole, both of Reeves; and 28 grandchildren.
