Daigle Alcide Francis Rites in Dulac ALCIDE FRANCIS Funeral services for Alcide Francis, age 77, were held Oct 6, 11 am from the residence in Dulac to the Dulac Methodist Mission, with burial in Dulac Cemetery. Chauvin Funeral was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Francis died October 2, in Terrebonne General Hospital. He is survived by his wife, the former Laura Lodrigue; three sons, Joseph Lester and Addie of Dulac; and one brother, Louis of Grand Caillou. He is survived by 28 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Daigle Poiencot Rites to be Held Tuesday CELINE POIENCOT Last rites for Mrs Celine Guidry Poiencot, age 69, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, from Chauvin Funeral Home, to St. Eloi Catholic Church, Bayou Dularge, with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Poiencot a native of Terrebonne Parish died October 5 in Sako Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Enos Poiencot. She is survived by four sons, Russell of Houma, Malcolm, Al and Burt of Bayou Dularge; and two daughters, Mrs Edward Bienvenu, Houma and Mrs Earl Green, Algiers. Daigle Services for Gaston Savoie GASTON SAVOIE Funeral services for Gaston Savoie, age 78, of Des Allemands, were held Monday, October 6, 10 am from Falgout Funeral Home, Inc. in Raceland to St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. Interment was in St. Gertrude church cemetery. Mr Savoie was a native of Bourg, but has been a residence of Des Allemands for the past 50 years. He is survived by one sister, Miss Bella Savoie of Des Allemands. Daigle Morgan L. Ness Services Held October 30 MORGAN NESS Morgan Leonard Ness, age 47, died in Terrebonne General Hospital, October 28, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Ness was a native of St. Clyde, Minn. And a resident of 204 Westfield Street. He was a stewart for J. Ray McDermmott of Morgan City, a World War ll veteran. He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mr. Ness is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Ness; his parents, Mr and Mrs Henry Ness of St. Clyde, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs Starlett Zuma, Fort Worth, Texas, Miss Deanne Ness, Houston, Texas and Miss Rosemary Ness, New Orleans. Other survivors are two brothers, Norman of Chicago and Henry Jr., Clear Water, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs Margaret Benefelt, Canyonville, Oregon, and Miss Jo Ann Ness of St. Clyde, Minn. Daigle Peggy Sue Pitre Services Held 27 PEGGY PITRE Funeral services for Peggy Sue Pitre, daughter of Mr and Mrs Mack Joseph Pitre, Route 2, Houma, were held at 10:30 am Monday in the Coteau Baptist Mission with burial in the St. Louis Cemetery on Bayou Blue. The eight year old youngster was killed on LA 315 at Lower Bayou Dularge on Friday, October 24, when she was struck by an automobile.
