Daigle Francis Eschete Mrs. Frances Triche Eschette, wife of the late Sullivan Eschette, died Monday, July 5 at Raceland at 6:45 a.m. She was the mother of Mrs. Otto Vicknair, Mrs. Oscar Savoie, Ashton, Nilton, Hubert and Nolan Eschette. She was the sister of Mrs. Eddia Triche, Henry, Morris and Ve__ ....................., and the late Mrs. Nora Naquin Triche. A native and resident of Lockport, she is survived by 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services were conducted from Falgout funeral Home in Raceland today, July 6 and religious services were conducted from Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Burial was in the church cemetery. Falgout Funeral Homes Inc., Raceland, handled arrangements. ============================ Houma Newspaper, July 6, 1971, Tuesday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Lucien Pellegrin Lucien Pellegrin, a resident of Little Caillou Route, Houma, died Monday, July 5 at 11:40 a.m. at the age of 94. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Helen Chauvin Pellegrin and the father of Mrs. Adam Kelly, Miss Fay Pellegrin and Eldon Pellegrin, all of Houma, Mrs. Carmen Boquet of Bourg, Mrs. Henry Blanchard of Schriever, Harold Pellegrin of Gretna, and Mrs. W.K. Hall of Pensacola, Fla. He had 24 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted from Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Little Caillou at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7. Burial will be in St. Elie Cemetery. First National Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ============================ Houma Newspaper, July 6, 1971, Tuesday Submitted by Cynthia F. Daigle Pearl Pierce Savoie Mrs. Pearl Marie Savoie, died at Our Lady of the Sea Hospital in Galliano, today, July 6 at 6:10 a.m. A native and resident of Cut Off, she was 42 years of age. She is survived by her husband Alcse J. Savoie Jr.; her parents, Ben Pierce and Leoncia Gros Pierce; daughters, Mrs. Harris Guidry Jr. and Mrs. Paula Savoie, both of Cut Off; brother, Ben Percy Jr., and sisters Mrs. Anthony Danos and Mrs. George Danos, all of Cut Off, and one godchild. Services will be held Wednesday, July 7, from First National Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Funeral time had not been determined at press time. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Larose. First National Funeral Home is in charge. =============================================================================
