Daigle The Houma Courier Tuesday, January 24, 1972, page 1, col. 2 AGNES GUIDRY BOUDREAUX Catholic Rites Held Today for Mrs. Boudreaux Funeral services for Mrs. Van G. Boudreaux, 85, of Houma, were held at 2 p.m. today in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery was under the direction of Chauvin Funeral Home. Mrs. Boudreaux, the former Agnes Guidry, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at her home. A member of a pioneer Terrebonne Parish family, she was the wife of the late Van G. Boudreaux, former Assessor of Terrebonne Parish. Mrs. Boudreaux, a charter member of Court Cardinal Gibson No. 177, Catholic Daughters of America, was a member of St. Francis de Sales Altar Society. She was the daughter of the late Felix E. Guidry and Ernestine Fields. Survivors include two sons, F. E. Boudreaux, Assessor of Terrebonne Parish, and George Loyola Boudreaux, both of Houma, five daughters Miss Marie Van Boudreaux, Mrs. Gloria Haydel, Mrs. Claire Belanger and Mrs. Ernestine Ellender, all of Houma; two sisters, Mrs. Felicie G. Boudreaux and Miss Anita Guidry, both of Houma; 31 grandchildren; and ninegreat grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Emmett J. Boudreaux; and a sister, Mrs. Isabelle G.
