WILLIAM JACOB JEFFREYS

W. J. Jeffreys Dies; Services Are Saturday

William Jacob Jeffreys, a deacon at First Baptist Church died Wed. 
Jan 1 at his residence at 130 Harding drive.

Mr Jeffreys, 71, is survived by his wife Mrs William Jacob Jeffreys;  sons, 
David Paul Jeffreys of Tucson, Ariz., and William Jacob Jeffreys Jr., of 
Hattiesburg, Miss.;  daughters, Mrs P. L. Damico of Houma, and Mrs Lynnwood 
Duronselet of Metairie;  brothers, R. J. Jeffreys of Centerville,  A. F. 
Jeffreys of New Iberia, and N. E. Jeffreys, of Howardwood, Calif.;  sisters, Mrs 
Bonnie Bell Whitwell of Happy Camp, Calif.,  and Mrs Lucy Dellashaw of Freemont, 
Calif.

Funeral services will be Sat. Jan. 4 at 10 am from First Baptist Church with 
interment at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.

Visitation began Fri. Jan 3 at 9 am and will continue until 10 pm.

McCleary's Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
