Daigle Mabel Daigle Mrs. Mabel Benoit Daigle, native of Thibodaux and resident of Labadieville, died Feb. 7 at 9:50 pm at the age of 65 years. She was the wife of Robert Daigle and the mother of Gaston and the late R. J. Daigle. Mrs. Daigle was the grandmother of Kathy, Tammy and Christal Daigle. The funeral was scheduled for St. Philomena Catholic Church at 11 am today with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux. Daigle John Derrick Sr. John Leonard Derrick Sr., a resident of 1301 Dewey St., died at the age of 61 years Feb. 8 at 5:45 pm. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Josephine Poiencot Derrick and son of Ruth Lum Derrick and the late Homer Derrick. Mr. Derrick was the father of John L. Jr. and Joseph Dean Derrick, and of Mrs. Charlotte Hebert and Mrs. Charlene Babin, all of Houma. The deceased was the brother of Ralph Derrick of Vinton, LA.; Mrs. Laura Jackson and Mrs. Edna McPhearson, both of Shreveport; Mrs. Nellie Young of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Etherlene Chrittendon of Many, La.; Mrs. Ruth Elaine Harnage of Haughton, LA. Survivors include nine grandchildren. The funeral is scheduled for First Baptist Church of Houma on Tuesday, time pending, with interment in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2. Visitation began this morning and will continue until funeral time tomorrow. Daigle Mary Romano Gaston Mrs. Mary Alice Romano Gaston, a Montegut resident, died Feb 8 at 6:30 pm at the age of 52 years. She was the wife of Houston J. Gaston, and mother of Mrs. Mike (Joan) Dixon of Houma; Miss Linda Gaston and Miss Brenda Gaston, both of Montegut; Mrs. David (Barbara) Baudean of Bourg. The deceased was the sister of George Romano of Vicksburg, Mississippi; Andrew Romano of St. Louis, MO; Alfred Romano of Jackson, Miss; Mrs. Clayton Strong of Vicksburg, Miss; Mrs. James C. Lee of Old Town, Fla. One grandchild, Michelle Lynn Baudean, is among survivors. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 3 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for 2 pm today until funeral time Tuesday. Daigle Allen Hebert Allen James Hebert, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 106 Mire St., died Feb 8 at 2:30 am at the age of 58 years. He was the husband of Lucille Greco Hebert and son of Anatole Hebert and Edna Gautreaux Hebert of Schriever. Mr. Hebert was the father of Gail Williams of Houma and brother of Lloyd Hebert of Long Beach, California and Mrs. William Picou of Schriever. The funeral will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11 am Tuesday, with interment in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2. Visitation began this morning and will continue until funeral time tomorrow. Daigle Eloise Marquette Lambert Mrs. Eloise Marquette Lambert, a native of Plattenville and resident of Plaquemines, died at the age of 64 years Feb. 8, 2 pm. She was the wife of the late Ambrose Lambert, mother of Claiborne Lambert, Mrs. Lorina Palmer and Mrs. Eva LeJeune, and stepmother of Joseph A. "Sonny" Lambert. The deceased was the sister of Louis "Jack" Marquette, Noel Marquette, and the late Elodie Lambert. Sixteen grandchildren are among survivors. Services will be from Landry's Funeral Home in Napoleonville Tuesday at 9:30 am to Assumption Catholic Church at 10 am for the funeral. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation began this morning and will continue until funeral time tomorrow. Ratcliff, a native of San Rafael, California and a resident of 209 Tudor St., died as a result of a fall from a balcony in Los Palmos, Spain, at 3 am Jan. 29. He was 33. Mr. Ratcliff was on assignment by Otis Engineering in Spain. He had been a resident of Houma for several years. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Beebe Stallsworth Ratcliff, of San Diego, California; his brother, G. W. Ratcliff of Chula Vista, Calif.; his sisters, Mrs. W. E. Curtis of Abilene, Texas, and Mrs. Dottie Dale Schilling, of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his father. Religious services will be held at Featheringill Mortuary at 7 pm Tuesday, in San Diego. Interment arrangements are incomplete.
