Daigle Mrs. Armantia Compeaux Mrs. Armantia Crosby Compeaux, a native and resident of Cut Off, died yesterday, March 6, 5 a.m. at Cut Off. She was 82 years old. She was the mother of Wister, Howard and Harris Compeaux and the sister of Herman, Aramis and Eurban Crosby, and Mrs. Hector Plaisance. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Armond Compeaux and a son, the late Edward Compeaux. Services will be held today at 1:30 p.m. from Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano. Religious services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Cut Off at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Daigle Willie Davis Willie Davis died Wednesday, March 3, 7 p.m. at his residence in gray. He was 61 years old. He was the father of Mrs. Marion Burke of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Gaynell King of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Jacqueline Thomas of Houma, Miss Brenda and JoAnn Davis; and Wilbert, Willie Jr., Charles and Jerry Davis, all of Gray. He was the brother of Edgar Reed of Gray; Lloyd and Louis Reed of Los Angeles, California; Dorothy Batiste, Ursella __tram, and Gertrude Rogers, all of Gray; Bessie Davis of Chicago, Illinois; and Harriet _own and Mable Reed, both of New Orleans. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held at the __ses Baptist Church of Thibodaux today from 8 p.m. till midnight. The funeral will be held at __ses Baptist Church of Thibodaux, tomorrow, March 8, __ p.m., with the Rev. Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the __ Chapel Cemetery of Thibodaux. Daigle Ludger Hebert Sr. Ludger Joseph Hebert, Sr., a resident of 1306 Honduras St., died Thursday, March 4, 9:30 p.m. at his residence. He was 85 years old. He was the father of Ludger Jr., Raymond and Jules Hebert, all of Houma; Donald Hebert of New Orleans; and Mrs. Hilda _____ and Mrs. Barbara Malbrough, both of Houma. He was the brother of Evest Hebert of Metairie and is survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, the late Jane Acosta Hebert; and his parents the late Sazerie Hebert and Elvire LeCompte Hebert. He is preceded in death by three brothers, the late Johnny, August and Clifford Hebert and four sisters, the late Mrs. Agnes Thibodaux, Mrs. Marie Theriot, Mrs. Ovide Guidry and Mrs. Luke Chiasson. Visitation will be held today at the Chauvin Funeral Home from 1 p.m. till 10 p.m. and will resume tomorrow at 8 a.m. and continue until funeral time. Savoie, native and resident of Larose, died yesterday, March 6 at Lockport. He was 75 years old. He was the husband of Annie Breaux Savoie and the father of Norman, Nolan, Shelton, Albert, Sidney, and Edmond Savoie Jr., Mrs. Nessie Pierce, Mrs. George Ledet, Mrs. Dudley Pertuit, and Mrs. Ernest Adams. He is preceded by brothers, Alcest, Elves and Morris Savoie. Visitation will begin after 10:30 a.m. today. The funeral will be from the VFW Community Center at Larose tomorrow, March 8 at 10:15 a.m. Religious services will be held at the Holy rosary Catholic Church of Larose at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Jaccuzzo Religious services were held this morning for Mrs. Josephine Catanese Jaccuzzo, age 90, who died at a local nursing home at 9 am Saturday. A resident (sic., native) of Palermo Lascore, Italy, she was a resident of 622 Point St. Houma. She was wife of the late Sam Jaccuzzo and mother of Sam, Jimmy and Angelo Juccuzzo, all of Houma, of Mrs Irvin Thibodeaux of Houma, Cecile Runnels and the late Johnny, Joe and Mary Jaccuzzo. Mrs. Jaccuzzo was sister in law of Johnny A. Jaccuzzo of Houma. Eighteen grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren are among survivors. She was preceded by parents, Salvadore Catanese and Congetta Gerami Catanese. LEJUNE Olizine Joseph Lejune, a native of Port Barre and resident of Galliano, died March 14 at 12:05 am at the age of 39 years. He was the husband of Thelma Guidry and son of Dovie Lejune and Eunice Credeur Lejune. Mr. Lejune was the father of Timy, Jimmy and Johnny Lejune, Mrs. Terry (Darline) Gaudet and Mrs. David (Dorene) Gaudet. The deceased was the brother of Cleveland, Clifton, Ray, Joseph and Edward Trahan. Mrs. Russel Duet, Mrs. Houston Dupuis, Mrs. Harold Benoit, and the late Larry Trahan. One grandchild is among survivors. The funeral was scheduled for 1:30 pm today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano with interment in Cheramie Cemetery. Daigle Young Man Dies in Tunnel Wreck A young Raceland man died at Terrebonne General Hospital yesterday morning a short time after he was seriously injured in an accident in the Houma tunnel. Dead is Chris Thomas Savoie, 20, of Rt. 1 Box 1176, Raceland. (Several paragraphs omitted pertaining to the accident) Rites Savoie was the son of Desmond T. Savoie and Ethel Danos Benoit, and stepson of Kenneth Benoit.He was the brother of Glen, Desmond Jr. and Tammy Savoie. Services will be from Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to St. Mary Catholic Church at 11 a.m. for the funeral. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Daigle Industrial Accident Fatal to Young Man (First paragraph omitted) Glenn Bradley Freeze Jr., 20, of Booneville, Ark, was apparently killed instantly . The accident occurred .at about 9:45 p.m. Survivors - Freeze was the son of Glenn B. Freeze and Eldridge Marie Foret Freeze. Survivors include his sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Ann Martin of Houma, Mollie Faye, Frances Mae, Patrice Marie and Rachel Darlene Freeze, all of Boonville, Arkansas. Services will be held at First National Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation was scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. today.
