Daigle Yvonne Adams Visitation will begin today (Monday) at 6 p.m. and continue through 10 p.m. at Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux for Yvonne Caillouet Adams, who died today at 2:30 a.m. The native and resident of Thibodaux, who was 55, died at Thibodaux General Hospital. Visitation at Landry's will resume Tuesday at 8 a.m. and continue until 10 a.m. when a service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Mrs. Adams was the spouse of Linsler "Pollie" Adams and daughter of Mrs. Hattie Prejeant Caillouet and the late Alexander Caillouet. She was the sister of Roland Caillouet, Mrs. Gert Chaisson, Mrs. Joseph Zeringue, Mrs. C.C. Clement Jr., Mrs. Leroy Percle and Mrs. L.J. Melancon Jr. The family has requested donations be made to the Schleroderma Research Foundation, c-o Mrs. Arkie Barlet, 704 Gardner Center Road, New Castle, PA 16101. Daigle Mrs. Gaston Gaudet Visitation services will begin today at 3 p.m. for Mrs. Gaston Gaudet at St. Charles Catholic Community Center in Lafourche. Mrs. Gaudet died Sunday, Jan. 9, at 4:40 p.m. at Thibodaux General Hospital at the age of 83. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Community Center, with the funeral immediately following at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Gaudet, a native and resident of Raceland, was preceded in death by her first husband, the late Emile Guidry, and by husband by second marriage, the late Gaston Gaudet. Survivors include son, Gaston Gaudet Jr.; stepsons Claude, Gabriel, Robert, Richard, Ernest and Noby Gaudet, and the late Roy Gaudet. Survivors also include daughter, Mrs. Denis Knobloch, and stepdaughters, Mrs. Edward Naquin, Mrs. Harrel Picou, Mrs. Claude Zeringue and Mrs. Clifford Beaulieu. Brothers of the deceased are Oneil, Wilson, Eddie, Euclide, Peter and Eugene Toups, and the late Hector and Emile Toups. Preceding Mrs. Gaudet in death also was her sister, the late Helen Toups. Mrs. Gaudet is survived by 64 grandchildren and 87 great grandchildren. Daigle Bernice Gautreaux Services were held today for Bernice Adele Gautreaux from Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux, with burial following the funeral at St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux. Mrs. Gautreaux died Saturday, Jan. 8 at 3:15 p.m. at the age of 81. Mrs. Gautreaux was the wife of the late James E. Gautreaux; mother of Mrs. R.S. Guidroz Jr., James E. and David L. Gautreaux and the late Randolph E. Gautreaux. Other survivors include 14 great grandchildren and 13 grandchildren. Daigle Lorris Toups Services begin today for Lorris A. Toups at 2:30 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, with interment following at Williams Cemetery, Golden Meadow. Mr. Toups died Sunday, Jan. 9 at 2:30 a.m. He was the husband of Nora Picou, and father of Larry and Jerry Toups and Mrs. Emile (Jay) Guidry. He was the brother of Rene, Constant, Antoine (Waldo), Velton and Larson Toups, Mrs. Albert Griffin, Mrs. Linwood Cheramie, and the late Paris and Velma Toups and Mrs. Cherita Vizier. Survivors also include seven Grandchildren. Mr. Toups died at the age of 62. He was a native and resident of Golden Meadow. Daigle Clarence Savoie Services will begin today from Falgout Funeral Home Galliano at 1:30 pm for Clarence Edwif Savoie. Clarence Savoie died Sunday, Jan. 9, at 6:15 am at Galliano. Mr. Savoie is survived by wife Loredia Pierce Savoie; daughter, Mrs. Edville (Neva) Kieff Jr.; grandchildren John and Rod Kieff; great grandchildren Regan, John and Edville Kieff; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Velma Folse, Mrs. Bella Orgeron, Ellis J. and Noles Savoie and the late Alcee, Morris, Elvis and Edmond Savoie. Mr. Savoie, native and resident of Cut Off, died at age 64. Religious services at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off at 2 pm will begin today.
