Visitation at the Chauvin Funeral Home begins today, ___ pm, and continues today until funeral time. Services Monday, April 18 at 11:30 at St. Francis Church. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. She is survived by sons, Mr. Joe Catanese of Houma, and Mr. Anthony Catanese of Houma; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. ELSIE (NANIE) CHAMPAGNE Mrs Elsie (Nanie) Champagne, a resident of Box 60 Dularge Rt. Died Friday at Terrebonne General Hospital at 11:30 am. She was 59 years old. Visitation at McCleary-Brignac Funeral Home is today from 8 am to 10 pm and a rosary will be said at 8 pm tonight. It will resume tomorrow from 8 am until funeral time. Services are scheduled for Monday, April 18 at 10 am at St. Francis de Sales Church. Interment will take place in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Schriever. She was the wife of Harvey J. Champagne. She is also survived by one son, Harvey Lynn Champagne, of Houma; two daughters, Mrs. Manuel Clement and Mrs. Daniel Gauteaux, both of Houma; three brothers, Duval, Andrew and Camille Ledet Jr., all of Houma; two sisters, Mrs. Irby Bergeron and Mrs. Abel Olivier, both of Houma; one half brother, Isreal Ledet; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Camille and Eva Ledet; three brothers, Gillis, Rufus and Alex Ledet; sister, Shirley Ledet; three half brothers, Hewitt, Charlie and Viliance Ledet. =============================== Terrebonne Press, Sunday, April 17, 1977 Submitted by: Cynthia Fatchett Daigle GUSTAVE GUIDRY Gustave Guidry, a native of Cut Off and a resident of Galliano, died yesterday of natural causes at 1:40 am. He was 79 years old. Funeral services will be from Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano tomorrow at 9:30 am with religious services at ___ am in St. Joseph Catholic church in Galliano. Interment will be in Cheramie Cemetery. Mr. Guidry was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Guidry. He is survived by his wife, Edna Gisclair Guidry; three sons, Almate, John and Vinton; two daughters, Mrs. Gertie Benoit and Mrs. Joyce Terrebonne. He is also survived by brothers, _____, Morris, Nocess, and Horace; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Guidry was preceded in death by five sisters, Mrs. Alexina Danos, ___ Romelia Guidry, Mrs. Louise Duet, Mrs. Nocia Duet and Mrs. Dolaide Plaisance; two brothers, the late John and Toussant Guidry.
