Daigle Sergie Savoie Head-on Collision Kills Man A Lockport man was killed yesterday in a head-on collision near Mathews when according to police reports another vehicle crossed the center line and struck the pickup truck he was a passenger in. State police have identified the victim as Sergie Savoie, 52, of 217 Walnut St., Lockport. ................... (several paragraphs concerning accident omitted) Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 7 at 9:15 a.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, followed by religious services at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport at 9:30 a.m. Visitation at the funeral home begins today at 2 p.m. and will continue until 11 p.m., resuming tomorrow from 7 a.m. until funeral time. Interment will take place at the Holy Savior Mausoleum in Lockport. He was the husband of Annette Bergeron Savoie, He is also survived by two sons, Edmond J. and Chris Savoie Sr.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Claire) Champagne and Mrs. Jackie (Connie) Marie; five brothers, Forrest, Alton, Horace, Earl and Houston Savoie; three sisters, Mrs. Claude (Vernice) Ordoyne, Mrs. Tillman (Jean) Plaisance and Mrs. Nolan (Elta) Fonseca and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Willie (Annie) Pennison. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct 19 at Lake Lamb Funeral Home, 712 W. 31st St. in Chicago, Ill., followed by religious services at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was the husband of John Monahan. He is also survived by one son, Timothy Amedee of Chicago, Ill.; four daughters, Pamela Castro, Gayle Clasfy, Joy Marie Orick and Deborah Amedee, all of Chicago, Ill.; six brothers, Clifton Amedee of Baton Rouge, Whitney Amedee of Luling, Norman and Gerald Amedee of Belle Glade Fla. and Msgr. He was 47. Visitation at Thibodaux Funeral Home in Cut Off is now in progress and will continue until midnight, resuming tomorrow, from 7 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct 18 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by religious services at the First Baptist Church in Golden Meadow. Interment took place in Cheramie cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Alida Cantrelle Hebert; three brothers, Onezime, Albert and Edward Hebert and one sister, Mrs. Margie Guilbeau. Lovely, a native of Terrebonne Parish, died Friday, Oct. 14. He was 26. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Howard Baptist Church with the Rev. I. Henderson Riley officiating. Interment will be conducted in St. Luke cemetery in Waterproof. He was the son of Mr. And Mrs. Clarence Lovely, Sr. He is also survived by three brothers, all of Houma and three sisters, Mrs. Loubertha Griffin and Joyce and Doretha Lovely, all of Houma.
