Visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland will be held today from 3 pm until 11 pm resuming tomorrow at 7 am. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Feb. 20 at 10 am at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland with interment following in the St. Mary Cemetery. He was the husband of Mrs. Gladys Ledet Aucoin. He is also survived by one son, Hubert Aucoin; one foster son, Tommy Adams; one brother, Ferdinand Aucoin; one sister, Mrs. Eulalie Breaux and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Ausoin; and four sisters, Lola Adams, Maylee Boudreaux, Sophie Gerior and Aline Dunn. Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home will be held today from 9 am until 11 pm resuming tomorrow at 8 am. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Feb. 20 at 1 pm at the Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Gordon L. Chauvin; her mother, Mrs. Marie Lirette Samanie; four sons, Gordon J., Charles R., and Irvin P. Chauvin, all of Houma, and Nall J. Chauvin of Rayne; three daughters, Mrs. Yvette Falgout, Una Gautreaux and Deloris Cloud, all of Houma; two brothers, Francis and Alec Samanie; two sisters, Ms. Beatrice Cenac and Mrs. Theresa Verret of Houma; 22 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Ferdinand Samanie; one brother, Gordon Samanie; two sisters, Mrs. Idola Cunningham and Irene Robichaux. Elie Joseph Dupre Sr., a resident of Bourg died Friday at 1 pm at the age of 67. He was a retired deckhand. Visitation is now in progress at the Montegut Fire Station. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Feb. 20 at 9:30 am from the fire station, with religious services following at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Bisland Cemetery. He was the husband of Cora Eva Dupre. He is also survived by five sons, Druis J. Dupre Sr. and Elie J. Dupre Jr., both of Chauvin, Jerry Dupre Sr. of Houma, Gary A. Dupre Sr. and Ernest P. Sr., both of Bourg; three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Leona) Brunet of Houma, Mrs. Sherwin (Kathleen) Neal of Bourg, and Mrs. Terry (Erline) Porche of Chauvin.; three sisters, Mrs. Ulysse Boudreaux of Bridge City, Mrs. John Loupe of Lockport, and Mrs. Norris Brunet of Houma; 46 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home will be held today from 9 am until 10 pm, resuming tomorrow at 8 am. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Feb 20 at 10 am from the funeral home, with religious services following at St Francis de Sales Cathedral. Interment will take place in Terrebonne Memorial Park. She was the wife of Abel Savoie. She is also survived by three sons, Irvin and Carroll Savoie of Houma and Weldon Savoie Sr. of Bourg; one daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Joyce) Talbot Sr. of Montegut; one brother, Tillman Roger of Raceland; three sisters Mrs. Marie Danos of Cut Off, Mrs. Vennie Leblanc of Larose and Mrs. Edna Hebert of Westwego; and 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was 95. Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home begins today at 3 pm until 9 pm, resuming tomorrow from 8 am until funeral time. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the funeral home, followed by religious services at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Interment will take place in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose. She is survived by sons, Abel and Claude Savoie, both of Houma; daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Agnes) Dugas, Mrs. Allie (Eve) Griffin Sr., and Mrs. Alma Savoie, all of Houma; brothers, Dumas and Louis Adams Sr., both of Larose and Ellis Adams Sr. of Marrero; sister, Mrs. Matilda Ougel of Larose; 47 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
