Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home is now in progress and will continue until 10 pm. resuming from 8 am until funeral time Tuesday. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am, Tuesday July 4 at St Louis Church followed by interment in St. Louis Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Octavia Caro and Theophile Savoie; seven brothers, Ursin, Cyprien, Edward, Peter, Homer, Edwin and Isaac Savoie and two sisters, Azelie Savoie and Meloie Chauvin. Visitation at Falgout?s Funeral Home in Galliano is now in progress. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 6, [1978], from the funeral home to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, followed by interment in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. She was the wife of Camely Cheramie. She is also survived by one son, Lawrence Chouest; two daughters, Mrs. Lorica Osowick and Mrs. Norecia (Belle) Rebstock, one brother Ellis Chouest; eight grand children and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Nicholas Chouest, her husband by first marriage; two sons, Gillis and Larry Chouest, one daughter, Mrs. Alcidie Ledet, five brothers, Dalton, Gustave, Milton, Eves and Richard Chouest and four sisters, Mrs. Gustina Smith, Mrs. Lucia Billiot, Mrs. Augusta Guidry and Mrs. Claudia Rousse. Wake and funeral services at Plymouth Rock Baptist Church begin at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, [1978]. Dismissal service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday with interment in the Crozier Cemetery. The Reverend Johnny Price will officiate. She is survived by three sons, Ronald Williams Sr. of New Orleans, James Williams of Chicago and Wallace Williams of Maryland; two daughters, Annie Mae Williams of Houma and Mrs. Artemise Theriot of Chicago; four brothers, Washington Neville Jr., Irvin Neville, Sidney Neville and Allen Neville of Houma; three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Wesley, Mrs. Gertie Trosclair and Mrs. Corine Peters of Houma; 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
