VERNA DETIVEAUX SAVOIE Mrs Verna Detiveaux Savoie, native of Bourg and resident of Luling, died at west Jefferson Hospital in Marrero at the age of 70. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am, Thursday Sep 28 at Chauvin Funeral Home with religious services following at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by daughter, Mrs Paul (Joyce) Matherne of Luling; brothers, George and Benjamin Detiveaux of Bourg and Jeffrey Detiveaux of Houma; sisters, Mrs Kermit LeCompte of Houma; Mrs Leona Dubois of Dallas, Texas, Mrs Albert Kralick, Mrs Clyde Carlisle of Gadsden, Alablama and Mrs Jim McDonald of Ardmore, ___; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cambrel Savoie; brother, George Detiveaux and sister, Mami Matherne.
