Daigle EUGENE LEDET Eugene Elie Ledet, 97, died 4:25 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be from 2 - 11 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home, and from 8 a.m. until funeral time on Friday. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery. Survivors include three sons, Hewitt Ledet of Golden Meadow, Jessie and Eugene Ledet of Houma; seven daughters, Mrs. Edgard (Sadie) Rhodes, Mrs. Lavis (Inez) Henry, Mrs. Bennie (Felicia) Rizzo, Mrs. J.C. (Dot) Austin, all of Houma; Mrs. Esso (Hazel) Plaisance of Algiers, La, Mrs. Gaston (Gladys) Bouzigard of Cut Off, Mrs. John (Bea) Steimetz of Morgan City; 40 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Lombas Ledet; his parents, Marie Vito and Joseph Ledet; two sons, Enest and Druis Ledet. HENRY LUIZZA Henry Leo Luizza, 59, a native of Independence, La and a resident of Amite, La, died 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie. The funeral was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today at St. Helena Catholic Church in Amite with burial following in Colonial Cemetery in Independence, La. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pat T. Luizza of Amite; a son, Henry Leo Luizza Jr. of Independence; four daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Hand of Denham Springs, La, Miss Kathryn Luizza of Houma, Mrs. Marilyn Thornhill of Boutte, La, Rosalie Luizza of Hammond, La; a brother, Steve Luizza of Amite; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Schiro of Independence, Mrs. Mary Gennaro and Mrs. Grace Savarine of Amite and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Miss Antoinette Luizza and four brothers, Tony, Joe, Nick and Alex Luizza.
