Cenac Sr., 59, a native of Houma, a resident of Metairie, and a parishioner of St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church, died Monday at 3:40 p.m. in Metairie. Visitation will be this evening 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Metairie; resuming on Thursday 10 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral services were scheduled Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at noon at the funeral home chapel, location, 5100 Pontchatrain Blvd. (Metairie Cemetery). The burial will be in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Consuelo F. Cenac; his mother, Nora Porche Cenac of Houma; three sons, Joseph W. Cenac Jr., M.D., Michael Allen Cenac and George Steven Cenac; one daughter, Yvonne Cenac; two brothers, Jack A. Cenac of New Orleans, and John A. Cenac of Houma; three sisters, Mary Ellen Cenac, Margaret M. Cenac, and Violet Cenac Bourg all of Montegut; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Dennis Cenac; one brother Dennis Lawrence Cenac Jr.; and one sister, Lucille Marie Cenac. Aycock, 37, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Lake Charles and Houma, died Friday 3:15 a.m. in a Lake Charles Hospital. Funeral services were held July 25 at the Hammer Funeral Home Chapel, Lake Charles. Burial was in the Highland Memory Gardens. She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Clyde H. Aycock of Lake Charles and was an only child.
