JOSEPH KRAMER

Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in 
Sorrento for Joseph C. Kramer, 85, who died Wednesday at 1:40 p.m. at East 
Ascension General Hospital in Gonzales. Interment was in Holy Rosary Cemetery 
in St. Amant. 

A native of Kraemer and a resident of Sorrento, he was the husband of the late 
Mary Ourso Kramer; father of Mrs. Windom J (Lorena) Gautreaux, Gonzales, Mrs. 
Dewey (Enola) Delatte, Mrs. Wilton (Bertha) Leblanc, John Kramer, all of 
Sorrento, and Roland Kramer Sr., Crossville, Ill; brother of Ozone Kramer, 
Kraemer; half brother of E.J. Kramer, Darrow. He is also survived by 24 
grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by by his parents, Philomene Granier and John Howard 
Kramer, two sons, two sisters and seven brothers.

ONEIL LEGENDRE SR.
Funeral services have been scheduled for  9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Masonic 
Lodge, Paradis, for Oneil Legendre Sr., 69, a native of Thibodaux and a 
resident of Paradis for 42 years, who died at 11 a.m. Thursday. Religious 
services have been scheduled immediately following at St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church, Paradis, with interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland. 
Visitation will begin from 3 - 11 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. until funeral time 
Saturday.

He was the husband of Agnes Boyer Legendre; father of Oneil Lengendre Jr., Gary 
Legendre and the late Thomas and Susan Legendre; brother of Mrs. Doris Benoit, 
Mrs. Dora Boudreaux, Abdon Legendre and the late Nolan Legendre; son of the 
late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Legendre. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

THEODORE HOUCK

A prominent oil executive and father of a Houma resident died recently of an 
apparent heart attack in a Tokyo airport. Theodore B. (Ted) Houck, 69, the 
Parker Drilling Company vice president who managed what is believed to be the 
first foreign drilling operation in the People's Republic of China, died Sept. 
14.

Houck, a 44-year Parker veteran, had managed the company's China operations 
since 1980. He and his family had moved to Peking. His professional career 
earned him a reputation for being an international troubleshooter and in 1969 
he became the company vice president.

Survivors include his wife, Anne of Haskell, Oklahoma; three daughters, Mrs. 
Donald Chauvin of Houma, Mrs. Leonard Burton of Arlington, Texas, and Carla 
Houck of Haskell; two sons, Ted J. Houck of Diana, Texas, and Michael Houck of 
Odessa, Texas; two step-daughters, Tami Steeber of Coweta and Joy Ridens of 
Haskell; a step-son, Pat Ridens of Haskell; two brothers, Dured Houck and (end

VELMA LEBOEUF

Velma Portier LeBoeuf, 78 years, died Friday. Visitation will begin 2 p.m. 
today from the Montegut Fire station and remain until 11 p.m., resuming 8 a.m. 
Monday until funeral time. The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday from 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Sidney LeBoeuf; two sons, Lee Ward LeBoeuf of 
Montegut and Dr. Burney Leboeuf of California; one half brother, Roy 
Poindexter; one half sister, Mrs. Paul (Elisa) Burnes of Erath; three 
grandchildren; and one grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Zulma Ayo and Oxcilar Portier; two 
brothers, Louis and Edward Portier; and three half sisters, Mrs. Cora 
Malbrough, Mrs. Odine Ledet and Mrs. Dea Ledet.

HARRY HALL

Mr. Harry Ramond Hall, 67 years, died Thursday. He retired from J. Ray 
McDermott and was a Post Exaulted Ruler of the Elks. 

Visitation will begin 6:30 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home until midnight 
and resume 8 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time. The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday in 
the funeral home chapel. He will then be transferred to Sullivan Funeral Home 
in Marshall, Texas for the burial in Hallsville Cemetery in Hallsville, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Price Hall; one daughter, Mrs. Jeanne 
Scott of Houma; one brother, Grover Hall of Woodville, Texas; one sister, Mrs. 
Gladys Platt of Dickinson, Texas; three grandchildren; and one great 
grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Georgia Hynsion and Calvin Hall; and 
one sister, Verna Cline.

Helena Pitre Hennessy, 71 years, a native and resident of Cut Off, died 5 p.m. 
Saturday in Galliano.

services following at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Eustache, Elbe and Harold Pitre; and two 
sisters, Mrs. Martha P. Bourgeois and Mrs. Venita Gilchrist.

He was a retired compressor barge operator for Texaco.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Helen Brunet Henry; his step mother, Mrs. 
Ernest Henry of Houma; three sons, Floyd and Delvin Henry of Houma and Harris 
Henry of Bayou Black; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Lelia) Guidry of Houma; two 
brothers, Willis and Evans Henry of Houma; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great

RUSSELL DAUSSET

Russell L. Dausset, 76, a native of Houma and a resident of Baton Rouge, died 
Oct 4 at Baton Rouge General Hospital.

He was retired from Exxon Corporation with 40 years of service, and was head of 
the analytical section of the petroleum products laboratory. A graduate of 
Harvard University and Louisiana State University, he was a former faculty 
member of the LSU Chemistry Department.

The funeral was 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Rabenhorst Funeral Home in Baton Rouge. 
Services were conducted by Dr. J. Sherrard Rice. Burial was in Greenoaks 
Memorial Park.

Survivors include a sister, Viola Ella Aitkens, Houma; numerous nieces and 
nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wax Daussat.

(Janet) Santoy of Thibodaux; five brothers, Alvin LeBoeuf of Bayou Blue, 
Junius, Floyd, Harry, and Gerald LeBoeuf, all of Houma; and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Rogers LeBoeuf; his parents, 
Marcelin LeBoeuf and Agnes Marcel LeBoeuf; and one brother, Milton LeBoeuf.

MAUDE LANDRY

Maude Landry, 96, a native and resident of Paincourtville, died 1 p.m. Thursday 
at Assumption General Hospital in Napoleonville. 

Visitation began today at 10 a.m. from Landry Funeral Home, Napoleonville, and 
will continue until funeral time, 3:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in 
Paincourtville. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Aloysia (ZaZa) Theriot. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. Landry and Eliska LeBlanc 
Landry; three brothers, Walter P., Clarence J., and Henry J. Landry

MABLE MALONE

Mable Bagalla Malone, 65, a native of Galliano, died 4:15 a.m. today in Houma. 

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. today until funeral time Saturday at Falgout 
Funeral Home, Galliano. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home, with burial following at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.

Survivors include three sons, Waynon, Buddy and Gene Bagalla; two sisters, Edna 
Brady and Willie Kate Anderson; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. 

Falgout Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
