Breaux, 89, served as the justice of the peace for Ward 9 for 48 years from 1932 to 1980 for 12 consecutive terms. Breaux also served as past president and board member of the Federal Land Bank Association for more than 50 years and was a charter member of the St. Anthony's Cemetery Committee. He served on that committee until the time of his death. Visitation will be from 5 pm until 10 pm today and from 8 am until funeral time on Thursday.
