Bourgoyne Sr., 76, a native of Cut Off and resident of Baton Rouge, who died Thursday at 3 p.m., Aug. 30, 1984. Burial was in Resthaven Garden of Memory, Baton Rouge. He was the father of Mrs Loretta Shelton, Baton Rouge, Ira Bourgoyne, Jr., Pontiac, Michigan, Charles Michael Bourgoyne, Baton Rouge and the late Earl F. Bourgoyne. He was the husband of the late Frances Pitre Guidry; father of Mrs.Edmond (Anna Mae) Rodrigue and Roland Guidry, also the late Nolan Guidry; half-brother of Jefferson Cheremie and the late Edison and Donacien Cheramie. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
