City, died at 6:34 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 1, 1986). Visitation with be from 
6 p.m. until 11 p.m. today at Mothe Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Westbank 
Expressway, Harvey. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church followed by interment 
in Restlawn Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Matherne Bye; one son, Tommy J. Bye; one 
daughter, Mrs. Trudy Dufrene; one brother, Manfred Bye; one sister, Mrs. 
Bertha Maynard; three grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leah Savoie and Sam Bye; one 
brother, Wilfred Bye; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Flemming. Mothe Funeral

Ethel Rounds Joseph, 78, a native of Larose and a resident of Gretna, died 
at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today 
(Jan. 1, 1986) at Magnolia United Methodist Church. Funeral services will 
be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will follow in Blue Lilly 
Cemetery.

She is survived by seven sons, Warren W., Alton B., Herman H., Sidney J., 
Cleveland A., Edward C., and Lawrence S. Joseph; five daughters, Anna Mae 
and Amelia M. Joseph, Ethel M. Harold, Dorothy Mae Washington and Margaret 
J. Harris; one brother, Percy Rounds; one sister, Dorothy R. Jackson; 66 
grandchildren; 107 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Jr.; her parents, Mr. 
and Mrs. Arthur Rounds Sr.; four brothers, Sidney, Arthur Jr., Welton and 
Edward Rounds; two sisters, Lula Rounds and Ruth Boykins.

He is survived by his second wife, Norma Lee Plessala; his first wife, Wilma 
Kieff; one son A.J. Kieff; five stepsons, Paul, Joseph, Billy and James Kieff, 
and Mark Tritt; two daughters, Linda Perez and Alzoa Ann Kieff Pratts; one 
stepdaughter, Delberta London; one brother, Milton Kieff; three sisters, Kodile 
Ajan, Viola Battaglia, and Ethel Mae Plessala; 34 grandchildren; and 2 great

sisters, Mrs. J.J. (Verline) Authement and Mrs. Kurt (Evelyn) Domangue,

Mrs. Larry (Merline) White, of Houma and Miss Diane Domangue of Dulac; three 
sisters, Mrs. Herman (Audrey) Lirette, Mrs. Eustice (Della) Falgout, and Mrs. 
Loveless (Mary Ann) Foret of Grand Caillou.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dominick and Odile Bourt Pitre.  She 
was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Correction: 
In the obituary of Loney Pitre Domangue, published in the Houma Daily Courier 
Sunday, the name of her mother, Odile Bourg Pitre, was misspelled as Odile Bourt 
Pitre.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John B. (Rose Marie) Marceaux and

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Joseph Scurto; her parents,

in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Harris P. Blanchard Sr.; one son, Harris P.

Thursday until funeral time. Religious services will be conducted at 10 a.m. 
Thursday from the church with burial following in Matherne Cemetery in Bayou 
Blue.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Henderson Potasnik; one son, Joseph Wayne
