SURVIVED by three sons, Majesta Price of Raceland, Floyd Price of Houma and Horace Price of Chauvin; four sisters (sic. daughters), Mrs. Sylvia Strikeleather of Huston, Tx., Mrs. Gloria Pellegrin and Mrs. Shirley Elliott, both of Houma and Mrs. Violet Benoit of Bourg, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Claudia LeBlanc of Houma and Mrs. Ruby McQuery of New Orleans. PRECEDED in death by her husband Duffy J. Price; parents, John and Katherine Dupre Roddy; one brother Evince Roddy; and one sister Mrs. Eleanor Olivier. Daigle 3 Mar 1986 RUFFIN, Alton Alton H. Ruffin, 44, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday (March 3, 1986). Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at St. Luke Baptist Church, U.S. Highway 90. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. today at the church. Dismissal services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church followed by interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Bernice Ruffin; five brothers, Ervin, Lloyd, Raymond, Larry Ruffin, all of Houma, and Ronnie Ruffin of San Francisco, Calif; and six sisters, Onita Harris, Betty Coleman, Carolyn Banks, all of Houma, Bertha Caly, Gerry Williams, both of Monroe, and Shirley Franklin of Kenner. He is preceded in death by his father, James Ruffin; two brothers, Carl and James Ruffin Jr.; and one sister, Gertrude Howard. Mrs. Douglas (Deanna) Daigle, Mrs. Anthony (Eula Mae) Carrere, and Mrs. Verna Barrilleaux. PRECEDED in death by his parents, Theophile and Augustine Naquin Levron.
