Gilbert Joseph Bourg St., 82, a native of Chauvin and a resident of Gray, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 1986 A Mass of Christian burial was held at 2 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment in Magnolia Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Marie Louise Toups Bourg; one son, Gilbert Bourg, Jr. of Schriever; two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Marie Louise) Malbrough of Marrero and Mrs. Eugene (Alice Marie) Callahan of Theriot; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Falgout of New Orleans; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Emma Bergeron Bourg; one half brother, Veday Malbrough; and three sisters, Mrs. Opehlia Babin; Mrs. Rosemary Boudreaux and Mrs. Ena Bourg.
