Quirk and son Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ============================ BONVILLAIN, CLYDIA Long time Houma Daily Courier employee C.B Bonvillain lost her fight against cancer Wednesday (Mar. 7, 1990). She died at the age of 61 at 4:45 p.m. in Corpus Christi, Texas. Starting on Jan. 6, 1968, in the Courier's advertising department, Clydia Bullock Bonvillain quickly became known as "C.B." to her friends, co-workers and customers. Laurie Johnson, C.B.'s daughter, who lives in Corpus Christi, said her mother carried a special card in her wallet conveying a message for her friends and co- workers. "If by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs them." Today, many of those friends commented on the woman they knew through 22 years at the Courier.
