Daigle CHAUVIN, JEANNE AIMEE’ Jeanne Aimee Chauvin, 80, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, died at 8:05 a.m. , Monday, March 2, 1992. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 a.m. and Thursday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Chauvin Funeral Home. The Mass will be at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Houma with interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by one brother, Ollen Chauvin of Houma; four sisters, Mrs. Clifton (Etlel) Coffman, Mrs. Nick (Bessie) Barrow, Mrs. Junius (Della) Usie all of Houma and Mrs. Earl (Frances) Brien of Luling. She was preceded by her parents, Argus and Meloe Savoie Chauvin; one brother, Howard Chauvin; and one sister, Nervy Chauvin. Daigle FLEMING, CLARENCE SR. The Rev. Clarence Fleming Sr., 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Chauvin, died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, March 2, 1992. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 4 pm at the Gertrude Geddes Willis- Terrebonne Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be at 8 pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Chauvin. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. at the church with interment in Bisland Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Fleming; six sons, Charles E. Fleming of Goldsboro, N.C., Marks Fleming of San Francisco, Calif., Clarence and Edison Fleming of New Orleans, Webster Fleming of Fairfield, Calif., and Herman Fleming of Houma; six daughters, Maudries Smith of Chauvin, Ora Essie Turner of Phoenix, Ariz., Bertha Neil Porche of Chauvin, Annabelle Westley of Orlando, Fla., Louise Martin of Chauvin and Frances Diggs of Boutte; two brothers, Lloyd Fleming of New Orleans and Arnold Fleming of Chauvin; one sister, Lillian Bryant of Chauvin; 54 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille W. Fleming; his parents, Webster and Louise Fleming; two sons, James and Sherman Fleming; three brothers, Robert, Lawrence and Charles D. Fleming; and two sisters, Irene Jones and Essie Barnes. He had religious affiliation with Mr. Olive Baptist Church, St. Luke Baptist Church, Eagle Wright Baptist Church and KCIL Radio ministry. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass will be at 1 pm Thursday at St. Mary's, with interment following in the church mausoleum. She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Robichaux; a brother, Jerome Guidry; and sisters, Nell Cheramie, Charlotte Friday and Ruby Authement. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
