Earl (Sonja) Babin of Houston and Mrs. Steven (Maxine) Christofferson of Bourg;  
brothers, Freddie and Emile Collins, both of Chauvin and Allen Collins of 
Houma;  sisters Eugenia C. Authement of Chauvin and Velma C. Henry of Houma;  
12 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren

PRECEDED by parents, Eugene and Evelina Luke Collins; son, Camille J. Collins

He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac.  He was a retired 
fisherman, trapper and farmer.

David Michael Duplantis, 24, native and resident of Houma, died in an 
automobile accident at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb 2, 
1993.

Visitation … at St. Ann Community Center in Bourg; Services - Mass at 10 a.m. 
at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg; 

Burial in St. Elie Cemetery in Upper Little Caillou.

SURVIVED by wife, Leslie Bergeron Duplantis of Houma;  parents, Ronnie Joseph 
and Nancy Stringer Duplantis of Houma;  grandparents, Willard and Josephine 
Valure Stringer of Houma;  son, Jacob Ryan Duplantis of Houma; brother, Bryan 
Duplantis of Houma;  sisters, Rhonda Baxter of Ellisville, MO, and Susan 
Duplantis of Houma.

PRECEDED by grandparents, Xavier F. and Cornelia Pellegrin Duplantis.

He was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.  He was a graduate of South 
Terrebonne High School and attended Louisiana State University where he studied 
finance.  He was employed by Bollinger Corp.
