SHIRLEY SMITH 

Shirley Mae Smith, 70, a native of Morgan City and resident of Houma, died
Friday, Nov. 4, 1994.  

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until 
funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma.  Religious services will 
be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with interment following in Terrebonne 
Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, four sons, three daughters, two half-brothers, 
two sisters, and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Clay and Melodia Gaspard 
Crochet; a brother, Wilbert Crochet; and a sister, Dorothy Crochet.  
She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Correction
In Sunday's Courier, information provided by the funeral home was incorrect
on the death notice of Shirley Mae Smith.  
She is survived by her brother, and a sister.
