EUNICE SMITH 

Eunice Josephine Crochet Smith, 71, a native and resident of Houma, died at
5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 1996.  

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home.  Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral 
home, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.  

She is survived by six sons, three daughters, 32 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson J. Smith; her parents,
Armand and Ellen Bernard Crochet; two daughters, Rita Smith and Leona Pitre;
two brothers, Stanley and Morris Crochet; ones sister, Adeline C. Pellegrin; and 
one grandson, Christopher Smith, Jr.
